  • This tutorial on needle felting and embroidering a landscape of Hills of Heather was created to help those who bought the kit that goes with this project but is interesting for anyone who is interested in creating pictures from wool. Watch Tracey from @Art Fiber Stitch as a rich landscape is created using snippets of different fibers and scraps of fabric silk and yarn.

Wow, I really enjoyed this ! I’m just starting felting but this clip really gave me inspiration! Has anyone ever said that you are the Bob Ross of picture felting. Your voice intonation is so much like him- lovely❤️

So beautiful. You know, I have been doing textile art for awhile now and never thought to use needle felting of yarns and other lighter fabrics. Thank you for sharing all of your ideas and tricks. Stunning results. I will surely be trying needle felting again (hated it the first time but never used it in these ways.) I will also be looking at yarns in an entirely different way.🥰

You're work is amazing...it helps me to more playful with the fabrics and not the need to be so 'realistic'...thank you.

Absolutely fantastic!!! I'm so amazed at how well you work with the fibers. I'm hoping it just takes practice. TFS!!

It is very forgiving, you just pull it off again, if it wasn’t right.😀

Thanks so much Tracey, that was so helpful and I can’t wait to get my kit in the mail. I have only just found your channel and I am so excited to have a go. I have been doing a lot of mixed media art and watercolour and wanted to try felting/embroidery etc. I love the textures and colours used to create your landscape. I am not wanting to copy yours but will use yours as a guide, as you said and hopefully I will make something I will put on the wall in my craft room. Thanks again.💕
