Being a Christian I've never been big on Santa. Snowmen have always been my Christmas time decorations.

Your spot on. I do enjoy winter and cold traditions. Gingerbread and hot cocoa.
Its the pressure of materialistic gift giving that looms over December.

Love your dishcloth!!!You did an awesome job!!! I am doing them along with Laura myself and I am working on my snowman now. I have never done this type of crocheting before but it seems fun. I don’t know about that French knot either.

An excellent way to build stitch experience on a smaller project. Its sooo much fun to see everyones take on the patterns. Does your "carry" color poke thru too ? I gotta work on that.

It does poke though but it seems to look though. There must be a way to do that differently. I guess if we’re going to do this type of crochet more I would need to watch some videos on it.

Do you have any ideas or patterns for happy little things like your monsters for kids with cancer? I want positivity it could be like maybe ladybugs or I don't know things like that not scary things because they're already going through scary things.

@@bobsmith4054 the tooth fairy monster with pocket would work well. It was soft calming colors. A pocket for secrets and special trinkets. I adore the idea of a ladybug. And frogs are always a gender neutral lovable. I agree no scary stuff when the world feels harsh and unpredictable.
