    I think it might also be beneficial for us as a society to not completely loose our previously held abilities. For example, the ability to write at all. A healthy upkeep of previous technology might be as beneficial as the higher levels of the SAMR model. Lest we completely loose abilities that previously served to build our cognitive functioning quite well. With too much Redefinition and Modification, the neurons that allowed us the dexterity to write, might literally start pruning themselves from lack of activation (use).
