Always love your reviews and honesty about products
Thanks for being here.
I wore them to Mexico for a trip recently, and can't wait for the weather here in Montana to get warm enough to wear them wet wading. They were perfect for chasing bonefish down South, and I have a feeling they'll be just as solid up here in the North this Summer!
Thanks for watching and for backing us up here. We are very pleased with them.
Love the videos man 😁😁 keep producing amazing content
Thanks for watching! As long as folks keep supporting the shop, we’ll keep making videos!!!
Just ordered a pair. I’ve been looking for something I could hike 10 miles in and stop to wade and fish with. I’ll give these a shot!
Thanks for watching. Might want to check with the shop on the 10 mile part though? Not sure if they were designed for that?
Have you tried the Korkers all axis? I am interested in more of a strict wet wading shoe vs an all around warm water/boat shoe. Really haven’t seen a ton on the Korkers and like the idea of being able to switch soles with my wading boots.
We have and sent them back to Korkers. Feel free to call Brian or anyone else at the shop and they will be happy to help. There are better options. Thanks for watching.
@@jmebig3044 I have a pair of Korkers and have been extremely happy with them. I use the felt sole and the vibram rubber sole and ahve had no issues with them. These were a cheap pair that were given to me and still going strong after three seasons. I was really curious about the all axis wading shoe because I am after a pair of wet wading shoes that have more than rubber soles.
Thanks Brian😉
Thanks for watching!
Hi - thank you for the review! Do you think this will do will walking the jetties as well? Thank you!
Thanks for watching. They should do fine but also feel free to call the folks at the shop to discuss further?
Thanks Brian. Got a pair of em for stalking redfish on the Hong Kong flats. Will be bringing em to Southeast Asia jungle rivers for mahseer
Thanks for watching.
When I was testing the packable waders for Patagonia I wore them with trail running shoes. Was so nice to not have clunky wading boots on. I might look into these.
Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the entertaining review!
What is the foot bed like? Supportive? Can you add the Simms insoles? How wide would you say the toe box is?
Thanks for watching. Please contact the Brian or the folks at the shop with your questions and they will be happy to help. You can email them or call them.
Nice review video Brian. How do they dell with shimmy & mossy rocks 🤔
Thanks for watching! As he says here....about as good as any rubber type soles? Feel free to call or e-mail him at the shop to discuss further.
just got these, headed to Bolivia in a few weeks. The front part of my quick lace (where it seems welded) broke! I hand tied it, but could/should I try to replace it or just go like this? Seems functional. How often does this happen? Should I exchange?
Please contact the folks at the shop directly and they will be happy to help. You can email them or call them. Thanks.
I have a feeling i would wear the sole down real quick. I'm not sure I'll go for these.
He’s been in them almost daily for months and no sign of wear. Feel free to call him or email him to discuss if a concern?
Do they made wide widths?
They do not, just standard.
Nice shoes!
They are! Thanks for watching.
Having surveyed hundreds of miles of streams over the years, have worn about every brand and type of sole out there.
Interested how they are on the mossy bedrock and boulders and downed trees here in the PNW!
Feel free to call the shop and discuss and thanks for watching.
I wear an 8.5 4E what should I get
Best to call or email the folks at the shop with questions like that. They will be happy to help. Thanks.
Wonder how well they keep gravel out. Fishing Michigan streams and rivers it can be an issue
Please send any and all questions directly to Brian at the shop and he'll be happy to help. You can e-mail him or call him. Thanks.
How about walking the flats in the Low Country?
Sounds fun! Feel free to call or e-mail Brian at the shop with any further questions.
Would you wear these with booted waders? I have some boots in need of replacing, and I typically wet wade when possible but wouldn't mind using shoes for wet wading and with waders.
They are not designed to be worn over waders? Feel free to call the folks at the shop though to discuss?
I would think that Simms, who make excellent wading boots, would hit this out of the ball park. And, by your review, it looks like they did. I am a Teva/Keen man, but I do need something a little heavier duty for saltwater, and it looks like these may be it. Thank you!
Oh, and by the way, I like the "click!"
Thanks so much and feel free to call the folks at the shop with any further questions.
I wear 15 6E. Does anyone make wading boots/shoes over size 14?
Yes, check Simms Freestone boots.
Like butter 🧈
Pretty much……foot butter.
I'm sure that these little knobbers have their place however I would tear those up in no time in the rip rap. They look cool tho. Simms have awesome designers, marketing geniuses they are.
Thanks for watching.
