I have read that song was written by Harry literally for Louis at that time that Louis was always having or clubbing done purposely by the management, thus Louis had little time for Harry that made him upset and as Louis' response he wrote the song Through the Dark. Especially sang in a stadium on an arena (without Zayn, no hate please). Harry goes bananas. this reaction is great and i'm glad you liked the song but also... no you don't understand!! where do broken hearts go, the xfactor performance is literally everything! like this performance is fine, like don't get me wrong, it's good! great even! they all sound amazing (despite the fact that whoever was in charge of sound was doing a terrible job ((not just in this song but their other songs during this festival as well)), you can see in different points on the performance louis turning to the side where the soundboard people are and gesturing for them to turn the mics up because really, there are parts where you can't even hear liam, you only ever really hear niall during his solo parts, their voices are getting drowned out by the instruments, the sound is just a mess) and they did great covering zayn's parts of the song, but that xfactor performance includes zayn and the song sounds (in my opinion) better in that performance. plus! harry just letting go and dancing around next to ronnie wood is easily the best thing about that performance. seriously, you haven't fully experienced this song until you've seen how excited harry was to be dancing next to ronnie wood. also niall playing guitar together with ronnie wood, it's incredible. and did i mention zayn's vocals?? you don't have to react to it, but at least watch it, you can find it on vimeo (vimeo.com/362462230) and while the quality looks kind green in the first few seconds it clears up quickly.

It starts with the presenter and it looks iffy but it’s just in the beginning then the quality gets good. They performed with Ronnie Woods. Him and Niall on guitar was fire and Harry was really letting out his inner Mick Jagger with him. This was still awesome. So happy you liked the song.

It was taxing for all the guys. Even Niall had to leave the stage and I’m guessing drank two bottles of cold Gatorade.
