Greetings from Toronto. 7:00 Yes, get it done. Otherwise you might constantly wonder about it. Also, if I may, be careful about how you have re tightened your stem bolt after flipping it. On a trainer, too tight or too loose - you wouldn't really notice, but once you get out on the road again you can quickly ruin your headset bearings. Watch some videos or take it to a shop before heading outside. I just stumbled on your channel. I will subscribe now.

How would stem bolt affect headset bearing? Top cap screw set preload just tight enough to remove play and then the 2 stem bolts tightens around the steer tube. The stem bolts do not directly exert any force against the headset bearings.

Matt, the small adjustments of the seat are required if you move fore and aft. You also need to move up and down. It is finicky, but spending the time to get it right will be well worth it in the long run. And as the KGs go down you'll need to come back to it as your position will likely change again. A moving beast for sure

It is such a cool video! From an AI point of view its a great app. It would be even more awesome if it told you what to do in steps like raise your sit, don't bother about the height of the bars. Then move your sit back. Then deal with the bars.

Great couple of bike fit vids. Hope it helps your knee issue.
My knees are sore most of the time. I’m finding volterol gel is taking the edge of it. Managed to do 100km 2000m Sa Colobra Mallorca back in September.
At 92kg I’d like to lose at least 12kg. I’ve also used tiger balm on my knees and used knee supports. Well worth having a chat with a physio.

mark the saddle position on the rails with a sharpie. drag it back 5mm and see what it does. Also raise your saddle height by 5mm to complement it and keep your each on the peddles.

Your body will adapt but you need to try it for a while.

Best way to test new position on bike and how knee holds up is to ride flats 1/2-1 h every Day zone 2. (1week) Modered strain on knee pump up the natural lubrication.
