When using the convection oven, are you supposed to leave the plastic ring / wheels underneath the glass plate ?

Absolute rubbish Have a NN-CT55JW , we unplugged it whilst going on holiday, returned to find that the clock and selection panel did not light up, the functions work but LCD failed, tried to reset as per items on U tube, would not, the guarantee ran out on the second week of our holiday, so one week out of guarantee, went back to Currys, they were no help, tried to contact Panasonic to no avail.
The last Panasonic micro wave lasted over ten years and was still working when we decided to renew , however we noted the lack of performance with this one but also the unhelpful support from Panasonic and Currys, , so off to buy an AEG and cancel out Panasonic top of the range TV , sorry guys, hope you have better luck than we did
