Just an update: I did figure out that the SoundCore button in the middle of the volume controls will actually allow you to skip back and forward by track. Do you have to touch it multiple times to do that. A little confusing but I wanted to correct the record on this!

What is the proper charger to buy for this model? I just want to make sure that the charger puts out the proper charging rate.
This or JBL Xtreeme 3? Which one would you recomend? (I can buy both in the same price) My doughter like to sing over mic so I want to have good vocals.
I ordered one from amazon for $145 B4 taxes. Can I pair it to my windows 11 laptop I need more volume on certain things. Also can I pair it too an IPOD or phone and a laptop then it will just sync up with which ever device I'm using? I don't want to pair it to a device every time I switch. TY
Great review! I think you're incorrect about the pricing however.
This speaker has been $180 since it was launched on May 30th 2022.
On Amazon Prime Day it was on sale for $144. It was never $110-150.
I think you're mixing this Soundcore Motion Boom Plus (80 Watt) with the older model Soundcore Motion Boom (30 Watt) which is $110 currently.
And I got an early bird coupon that put it at $130. So don't be surprised if it settles into $110-$150. Also, I wouldn't pay more than that.

The whole purpose of an early bird coupon is to get a great deal before a product's official release. Like Kickstarter or Indigogo. What would be the point in giving consumers a discount for buying a product early only to lower the price soon after launch to at or below the early bird price? Doesn't make sense. Plus, they would have to then lower the price of the original Soundcore Motion Boom below $110 which they're not going to do either. If this speaker gets discounted anytime soon I would be shocked.
Why can't you just admit that you made a mistake when mentioning that we can find the price ranging anywhere from $110-150 and and as high as $179? That's simply not true.

Old man new tech I sent this boom plus back after it distorts at 80 percent or more volume now seeing issues with the bass radiators expanding if using on a hot day and the horrible battery life amd now thankful I sent it back. I love brannon ds channel too but just got the tribit stormbox blast amd this speaker is everything I'd hoped the boom plus to be this blast will be the best speaker of 2022 and reason flossy Alan Ross and oluvs gadgets rate it higher than the boom it absolutely smokes the boom plus

Truth. I have the Stormbox Blast. My friend owns a Motion Boom plus. both great speakers for the money. But, both of us agree......the Blast is superior in sound quality, Its just a fact. Get the Tribit. Before its out of stock, At 200 bucks........its a downright steal!
@@OldManNewTech Soundcore has acknowledged this issue and has made corrections to the materials used. There is a new version. Unfortunately, this substitution was made in relative silence. They notified a few reviewers. Alan Ross, for example. Quite dumb, in marketing terms, imho.

good review! i orderd another stormbox blast. if your a basshead? get it! now my motion boomplus always had a bass slap, it is a great light speaker. but i got the alan ross custom eq settings and it sounds great. 80% is all i run a speaker. i never take any of my speakers outdirectly in the sun, espeacaly if its black!! my radiators are fine. its called a little common sense.

I noticed that my Boom plus doesn't split channels left and righ like my other speakers (Motion Boom and Tronsmart Bang). I had already noticed that with other songs and I use "Revolution" (Beatles) to confirm: The intro guitar can't be heard.
Does this happen to you too or did my speaker come with problems? Unacceptable for Anker to change something so basic from one model to another.
Great question! I know the sales materials say that True Wireless Stereo is achieved when pairing the speakers, but this is done through the app. Now since you can pair over 100 speakers, there may be a limitation in the chip used in each device. I’ll look into this further. Good catch!

I was not satisfied with the sound of my speaker and I think it may have crossover issues in addition to this issue. I'm going to return it, get my money back and think about whether I'm going to continue with Plus or buy another Motiom Boom daughter to make a stereo set.
@@OldManNewTech I tested it with the balance of an external equalizer and the right woofer is broken. I only hear the tweeter. How embarrassing.
@@EgonAszmann the good news is that Anker has excellent service, and can be accessed through the app. The more that I use this speaker, the more issues I see popping up, warranting a revisit on my channel.

Most speakers don't have controls for replay of next track, that's what you phone is for. Also selecting the next song etc. Is on the phone....never an issue. I'm always queuing up the next song anyway on my phone. Bang for the buck, this things kicks most others away...I just got mine today...awesum
I just got one of these and it doesn't come with a charger, WTF ? Some little 12-inch long cable with the same connections on both ends that I have never seen before, so now I have to go find and buy a charger for this FKN thing? Sounds good, but disappointed to say the least !

Tribit Stormbox Blast. Just buy it. It's $200. It is worth it at $300 plus. Yeah, it's that good. Blows the MB + away. But the MB is good for the price as well. Cheers!
