I'm not brave or patient enough to attempt that. In fact I'd probably make a box for the arch, then carpet it. But its a great video and very helpful for me to make the right decision, Thanks, much appreciated👍

Recently fitted Easy Liner bought as a kit with insulation and sound deadening. Watched your videos a couple of time and I have to say love the finish. I carpeted the whole sides in one go but fitted the panels separately, a bit of a waste in some respects but a great finish. Cheers

Once again, a very helpful video, my ducato -wheel arch looks perfect now 🙂I only had the problem, that my wheel arch is isolated with armaflex. Once you have glued the carpet to the armaflex, you can remove it (for realigning the carpet) only with a thin layer of armaflex. So i had to spray new glue on this spots. Otherwise it would no longer have stuck. Nice greetings from Austria.

Hi, the silver layer on the wheel arch was our 2mm sound deadening mat. It was fine to stick the lining carpet to it.

So did you not have any insulation on the arch.
Is it ok to stick carpet onto the 7mm insulation..

@@sashadog58 that's correct, I didn't insulate the arch. Mainly for aesthetic reasons and to keep the original arch size for fitting pre-made furniture units over etc. I have never tried sticking carpet directly to the 7mm insulation. In theory it would work though.

Hi there, it’s not clear to me what (if any) sound deadening / therma insulation is recommended on the wheel arch before the carpet goes on. Can you clarify? Thanks

Hi, in order to secure the carpet we apply HT adhesive to the panels and arches. Thanks

@@kiravans5874 My van has 'bare;' wheel arches that need insulation in the heat of Australia and I am just interested to know what the silver lining is that you have over the wheel arch. Is it a type of insulated foil? If so, how did you adhere it to the bare metal of the wheel arch? Thanks in advance
