How to Do a 48 Hour Film Fest

I spent almost ten years sitting around thinking about taking part in a 48 Hour Film Festival, before I actually did one. I wasted so much time.
Before committing, I had "Perfection Paralysis." If I was going to put the time and energy into a 48 hour project, I wanted it to be perfect. News Flash: Nothing made in 48 hours is going to be perfect.
Eventually, I finally hooked up with a team of folks who just wanted to have fun...and it has made all the difference.
Now I've done three and can say that it's definitely a blast.
In this week's video, I give my perspective on 48 hour film festivals and show you one we created a couple years back...and it even won three awards!

Great videos man, the short was very good and I liked the comedy approach, there were maybe some overeactions, comedy is hard, but I laughed my ass off with your interactions with the "super strong guy" and with the ending. I also just saw your bmpcc video and the colorgrade capabilities just ended convincing me about picking one for myself, so thanks, trying to get better quality into my work.
Keep going on, I think you post good stuff.
