Hi guys! I am here with a slightly off-topic question. As a Hip Hop, Trap, House producer who up to now has been producing with softwares only now wishing to add some analog synths sound to the upcoming productions and if I have to choose 1 or 2 low budget Behringer synths which 1 or 2 would you advise? I have limited time to decide as someone is travelling from Europe to my lost island.
Probably I would choose the 'Crave' (moog mother-32 replica), big bass, great synth, drone sounds and also it's a semi modular synth so you can go crazy patching and create incredible sounds here a vid of mother 32 in action (ambient and pad sound) th-cam.com/video/Y2skmuoGE9Q/w-d-xo.html
@@robymrage i got the Cat and the Pro 800. Since you have mentioned the Crave I watched some video and can say that it is on my list. For now I am dedicating time learning to tame that wild Cat. It is my first encounter with such a world. Thanks to the manufacturers for opening this time travel portal. I am observing minimal progress in my learning and I already feel like a winner. Thank to the TH-camrs for indications.
A good demonstration of how terribly limiting this device is. It really needs to be used with other devices. In fact, it was designed as part of a trio of devices replicating the Moog Sound System devices. The first two of the three, the Crave and the Edge, have been available for quite some time, but the third device, called Spice, seems to have been abandoned by Berhinger. I doubt it will ever be released. Behringer seems to make a lot of product announcements that they do not deliver on like, Spice, the Proton and the Boogerfooger pedals.
@@daynalee7806 I agree, it's perfect with the mother-32 and subharmonicon, but it's also true that you can do a complete techno track with this one and it's a unique device, I really love it. I was curious about the Spice, sorry to hear they abandoned the project.
@robymrage They "seem" to have abandoned it, but Behringer isn't saying . I saw what can be done with the full Moog Sound System and was impressed by it. I invested in the Crave and Edge hoping the Spice would follow shortly. I'm disappointed in what they do and have grown bored with them. I was going to buy a Neutron, but they announced the Proton so I thought I would wait for that. But that seems to be in limbo too. So now I'm looking into the Korg Volca system which seems to be fully available. By the time Behringer releases those devices, I may have already moved on.
Nice! I'm getting one when the the restock is in. Do you have any tips or tricks out of the box for it?
Thanks!
Just saw on Thoman in stock within 3-4 weeks
I got mine this week via Sweetwater, 4/12/24

@@robymrage thank you for the answer. The music shop in town ran out of Crave. I am aiming the Cat and the Pro800 dripping the Pro1.
@@benouaafrika6609 I like a lot the Pro800 🧑🚒
