A terrific start to 2024 Gary. Always great to find some pre-decimal silver coins and older Britannia copper Pennies when out detecting. You demonstrated why it is important to detect old tracks for coins and relics.
Thanks Greg. That watch was a bit unusual. The case to be rusted like that-I've never seen one made of iron. And the face to still be intact?? Finally found some silver there.Cheers
Good hunt Gary. Glad you go on the silver. Good haul of coins. Gee the ground doesn’t like the coppers. The clock face was a cool little find. Well done. Take care mate 😁👍
Thanks Andrew. Finally got some silver from there, but all the coppers were crusty . Apart from the face, the rest of that watch was just rust.Cheers mate.
G'day Gazza, ripper little hunt there mate. Found some pretty cool stuff. my favourite being the pocket watch I just love finding those, although im yet to get one with the face still on it. Thanks for sharing 👍
G'day Darren. That pocket watch was a bit unusual as the glass face was still intact and the rest was just a blob of rust.?? Always good to share detecting experiences, even if the finds aren't always so good. Cheers mate.
Thanks Gavin.I've been there before briefly with the Nox,and now having some time off work, had a proper search there with the Manticore. Cheers and all the best for 2024 to you and family also.
I look forward to your vids Gazza 😊 nice location. I often forget tracks in the process of getting to a spot, good reminder. Nice finds along the track. I’ll probs watch this vid few times on my phone then big tv😀
Hi Brun. Glad you enjoyed. I've been to this site a few times and have ignored the track until now. The track finds I think have come in with gravel put on the track.Just wondered where that gravel came from? Cheers.
Thanks Jim.The track was a place I hadn't thought of detecting earlier, but it proved to be the best place. Pity all the coppers were in such poor condition, but a crusty penny is better than no penny.Cheers mate.
Bloody nice location. No wind!! I love me a well worn track!! Lots of goodies to find there. Enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing and supporting 😊

Great to see a couple of silvers from that spot Gazza
G'day Guy. Eventually the silvers came to light after lots of coppers.Persistence payed off.Cheers.
Nice hunt Gazza, how well the watch cleaned up was a surprise and it’s always good to get some silver. 👍😊

Decent hunt Gary, hard to resist a track when we come across one, least you managed two silver’s and an old Britannia.
