- As we all know, Germany lost World War II. Much of this loss had to do with the fact that the Third Reich had to fight practically the entire world. But what would have happened if Hitler had not started any wars, and had only taken advantage of Europe's reluctance to fight? In this video I will tell you what could have happened.

so basically, Hitler took a page from Bismarck, and ensured that, if a war happened, he wasn't seen as the aggressor, and thus no one came to save the other guy

An interesting scenario. In essence, World War II would have happened, but with the USSR as the main enemy of the Allies rather than Germany. And the conclusion that Hitler would have gotten everything he wanted without engaging in a massive two-front war is a wonderful irony. Of course, the Hitler in your simulation was not, unfortunately, the Hitler in the real world. And such is history.
The only problem would of been the german economy - if it wasnt for war it probably would have caved in on itself. there was a massive amount of debt already
@@jesus2850 Yep. That would have cooked it. But remember, in the simulation, Germany reoccupied the Rhineland, and acquired Czechoslovakia and Austria (OK, that was a booby prize) and a large swath of Italy which would have helped the economy. The "responsible" Nazi government would then have had to rein in spending and (gasp) raise taxes to ease the debt pressure. This is possible without war. But you're right. The inflated debt created by the Nazi rearmament is the fly in the ointment.
@@chrisschultz8598 people would be mad about the taxes but there life would still be alot better than it was before the nazis so they would not really care in the end I think.
@@serax126 well no eventually the German system would stall into what essentially be soviet union style shortages and the one German state union such as real life with the nazis were drastic burdens on the state. The private interests of financial and industrial sectors of the economy were bogged down and dragged down considerably even when the good years came not just when the war came around. Part of Hitler's populism was entirely pro labor and anti agrarian like Stalin. Why were the good years good in Germany if these programs were awful? well firstly the programs weren't in effect in totality just initially by the good years. The primary reason why the good years were good was that the previous government practiced austerity measures and the economy recovered on it's own but it was political suicide for a politician to actually balance the nations finance.

Instead, you get organizations like the Gestapo and KGB that try to force everyone to think the same and follow some cookie-cutter philosophy that eventually fails and takes everyone with them.

It depends cause Germany would have still ended in a civil war, and still looked as a fascist and a dictator still, and for his ''Reichkommisiarats'' I personally think people could have wonder maybe what they could have done there, maybe spies and other stuff so no, everyone would know his horrible actions even in such a world.

Basically he didn't let himself become the invading force unless aiding his allies and so noone really held a grudge to aid his enemy against him.

May ally wanted to fight him but when they saw he is not involving in the war of poland, they would have no reason to make war of poland harder and risk the possibility of a Berlin-Moscow pact.

the allies only did appeasement because they wanted the soviet union to be weakened by fascism. with their countries being attacked (France was occupied, GB had sea lion and US had Pearl harbor), also merchant vessels being sunk for years now, they joined the war, but only started their invasion when the USSR was winning the eastern front already, because they wanted to occupy more territory to encircle the soviet union and put its industrial and political centers in range of nuclear missiles (and then got mad when the USSR did the same in cuba). this allowed them to pressure the only recently developed comintern into putting more funds in the army, denying them to prioritize economic growth and consumer goods, which destabilized them and thus allowed privatization, so western capitalists could exploit these unemployed masses after their companies were bought out or driven away by competition and also western acquisation of these resources for cheap money. if the allies truly disliked fascism, wehrmacht chief of staff Adolf Heusinger wouldn’t have later became NATO chief of staff, for example
Well, Allies were indeed considering going to war with Stalin around the time Finland was being invaded, after initial stance of "let's not push Germany and Soviets any closer" they adopted during invasion of Poland didn't really benefit anyone.
Germany knocking out France put an end to those ideas and later on Soviet leadership was operating too convenient mutual meatgrinder to be discarded.

What if Hitler wasn't rejected by the Vienna Fine Arts School
For those of you who don't know why he took over Czechia, it should be noted that Czechoslovakia was an artificially constructed country, mostly run by Czechs while sidelining Slovaks and Germans, as an example, nearly 99% of public functionaries were Czech in a country that was barely over 50% Czech.
After the Munich agreement, Slovak leadership suddenly declared independence and approached Berlin for guarantees. AH accepted this, and thus Slovakia became, for the first time in history, an independent nation state.
The fate of Czechia was already sealed however. Political instability was so high as a result of hostile foreign policy before the Munich agreement, the agreement itself, and the declaration of Slovakian independence, that the Czech president, Dr. Emil Hácha, flew to Berlin to secure the same kind of guarantees that AH had offered to Bratislava; this however was not accepted, as a result of bad diplomatic faith between the two nations, and as the Czech state was already in a state of collapse, Hácha decided to order the army to stand down in order to avoid pointless war and bloodshed.
The result was that Czechia was split in two regions, Bohemia and Moravia, which experienced nominal independence within the Reich, much like Scotland does with the UK today. The citizens of these new "protectorates" had independent internal politics but no right to foreign policy, they were also excluded from military service and conscription.
I didn't write this in order to "justify" something, but I often feel as if the entire story is taken very lightly and never talked about in much detail, so I felt as if I had to provide some context and clarification, thanks.

I tried doing this in UMC.
But diplomatic hitler.i still build and tried to expand as much as possible without any war. I did manage that until, Yugoslavia. Where i manage to do the first part but 2nd part didn't. Thankfully nobody in the aliies join since the world tension isn't as High.
