- I wanted to build a portable speaker for a long time, and few weeks ago my bluetooth speaker was stolen.. So finally I had a good reason to do it..

Excellent build quality..! Thanks for also showing the mishaps because no matter what and how good one is at woodwork, things can happen quickly.

Ev3rM0r3 Kinda hard to due over TH-cam without the best of the best when it comes to mics and TH-cam compresses the audio to something completely unrecognizable.. :/
Oh, lemme hear how good your new speakers are over the phone.
That simply isn't the point. It's showing a working finished product. And you can get a pretty decent idea of sound from a phone/recording mic these days. But aside from that I'd have liked to see his parts list, crossover points for the speakers he chose and all that. Even the show How It's Made gives insight to its builds with a narration. These music only vids kill me. Feels like I'm watching a company advertisement while sitting in a lobby.

Всё супер, Но есть одна серьёзная ошибка! Корпус внутри надо было разделить на два герметичных отсека. Для того, чтобы диффузоры широкополосных динамиков не влияли друг на друга при работе. В противном случае будут искажения звука...

I believe the tweeters are Dayton audio’s ND16FA and the mids look to be Dayton Audio’s full range series.

As much as I absolutely love this I'm wondering what a shaped wooden handle would look on it.
I think that would probably look a little too bulky.
As alternatives to the leather strap I bet you may be able to find some interesting cabinet hardware that may look good on it.

TheRuyguzman That crossover looks insane! Way too much happening with it. I hope it is a narrow bandwidth crossover. To try to get a flat response. I hope, but I'll wait until the specs on the crossover components are posted. To properly evaluate the crossover.

Ask friends and family if they know someone that can build the box, have him build two... Then take over the project and do the electronics for both. Now you each have a speakers system, and a new friend! ;-)

Crossover components shouldn't be anchored to each other, and inductors should be on completely different planes the closer they are to each other, optimally. For that level of audio quality tho, you probably won't even notice the issue. Also, recessing the tweets narrows the scope of their dispersion further than normal - an issue that high freqs suffer naturally. Flush mounting them would've been better. Pretty tho.
