I've been patiently waiting for some new for bashers from you guys. I heard alot of things in the works. I'm guessing this won't be the last basher vehicle new release from you guys in 2023?? I'm hoping for a monster truck instead of truggies. Wish you guys would have a 1/6-1/7th scale MT basher in the works! Might grab this until then 👍🏻

Well I voted when the contest/poll came out for a new solid axle monster truck, but I saw this was what came out. Still had to have this 1! My local hobby shop (riders hobby, Flint mi) hadn't even heard of it until I just ordered mine tonight! Hopefully in about a week I'll be bashing on the machete! Great work redcat!
P.s.- hint hint at a new solid axle monster truck. Like ground pounder v2 (lmt killer)?!?!?! I want an excuse to justify to the wife about buying a new solid axle truck!!!!

Is it better to use two 2S batteries or one 4S battery? Trying to factor in my upfront cost to buying this vehicle, since it seems a little more costly to buy one 4S battery. This will be my first large scale vehicle requiring a 4S battery. I already own one 2S and 3S battery. thx!

This thing looks sweet. From looking at the pictures it looks like you can run dual 2S packs in the 4S model can anyone confirm that?

Is the 4s and 6s Machetes the same trucks aside from the Motor and ESC change? Or are there some changes to the truck as well?
@SG I looked at the site they both said 4mm aluminum chassis. Didn’t notice the specification of the 7075 on the one. Just seems pretty stupid to make the exact same chassis out of two different metals.
I was more wonder if there were drastic differences like Arrma has with the 6s and 4s lines. Like shocks, drivetrain, etc. but from the looks of it it’s just the electronics and from what you say the 7075 chassis. Which I still don’t get. Seems that it wouldn’t be to cost effective to mill the exact same chassis in two different metals. When most people will want the 7075 chassis and will more than likely replace it on the 4s model.

holy crap redcat is just churning out new trucks this year! Super exited for the new releases and future releases as well. Might seem unrealistic, but I am personally hoping for a 1/5 crawler. Like a reworked Clawback.

Is it comparable in size to the shredder?
in in short but The Shredder was 4S only. This vehicle is a replacement for the Shredder and we wanted to keep a large scale offering under $400 (same price as the 4S Shredder). This vehicle is a new design and does not use any parts from the Shredder so it is now strong enough for 6S. The 6S version has a 7075 chassis where the 4S version does not use 7075 aluminum. All other specs of the 4S and 6S are the same except for the ESC, Motor, body color and chassis material. Hope that helps answer your question.

@@batman785 it was spinning the tires on pavement and a lot of power was bleeding to the front wheels..If you want to hit wheelies go to a surface with more grip and tune the center diff..it's just facts.

I had an old style volcano epx pro, I had a horrible experience which made me dislike redcat, but this might make me comeback

It's a great looking truck but there's a lot of questions. And I'm not sure that the prices really worth it to start. I'm not talking to monetary price I'm talking what it costs us as Redcat fans. This one costs us the shredder probably the landslide If I'm right it looks like they're getting rid of all the BSD racing vehicles meaning the blackouts to follow The ground pounder that's the cost. Which I would probably be okay with If I didn't already buy all of them vehicles and have spent a lot of money upgrading them to now have them become shelf queens because I can't get components for them anymore. On top of that this is the new gamble so if I buy this truck where am I in 6 years No longer able to get components because they replace it with something that doesn't use any of the same parts in the same place I am with the shredder never able to get a clear body never able to get upgrade components Is that what I'm looking at for the long run future of this truck? I'm very happy to see the new truck and I think it has a lot of potential but so have so many of the other vehicles that we've all purchased seeing potential in them only to be let down to have no factory upgrade support in some cases no factory support of any real kind other than the stock painted body that it comes with and the stock parts that come on the truck. So my question to you at Redcat is Is this just another flash in the pan to be gone in 5 or 6 years replaced by something totally different or are you going to support this truck into the future like Traxxas does we're over 20 years with some of their models and they've just been refined and upgraded over the years yet I can still take that original version and put every single component that they make for the new version on it and still enjoy it That's what I'm asking from you Stick with something Don't just replace it with the next flash in the pan If I could get that kind of guarantee from you I would probably be all over buying this truck but if I can't in all honesty my money's probably going to go to Traxxas because in 10 years 15 years 20 years I'm still going to be able to get components for the truck I'm still going to be able to enjoy it I'm a collector but I like to run them I don't like having shelf queens and just having another shelf queen that was great for 5 years is not what I'm in the market for again especially at this point I hope the new release does really well for you and I'm not bashing you so don't think that I am I have nothing but love for your company and I bought pretty much everything you've ever made from the day you started I see you as I seen Traxxas when I was a kid. I was made fun of for buying their products back then told that I was buying department store toy quality garbage and I was made fun of for buying your products when you came out again same thing yet I've stuck by you all this time So can we get that guarantee or is this just another flash in the pan?;

Nah enough low riders lets take advantage of the licensing for rcs that go fast . Classis stock car series oval racing . Rc would have the best bodies good enough to sell even if the racing didn't catch on , if racing caught on redcat would be next level . Work with what you have already that's better than the rest . Why only use for niche crowd . Low rider cool but better possibilities with a 59 64 impala 76 Mc no fool would bounce a 59 to pieces anyways 😆
