Erik knows his stuff If he talks listen would be my best advise to anyone looking for Knowlwdge I am a member of Team Indiana that was lucky enough to win Gold in The team matchs this year My first 3 yrs competing I had no one to Mentor me one on one But thankful to Erik for taking the time to post his videos I was able to get competative in a short amount of time by listening to what he had to say and for that alone I will always be gratefull to Erik He is a shooter i will always look up to as well as Jim Murphy
Got the email that my EC Tuning Brakes were shipped on Saturday, they arrived today (Monday). Thanks for the damn fast service and shipping. Can't wait to get it installed, set up, and re-zero the rifle.
Third place is still a respectable finish...I know that often times the team matches (as well as individuals) are often won by Xs. Also, very familiar with the "I wanted to film some of the match but forgot to" because of the weather plus the mental and physical drain of competing, happens to me big time LOL. Waiting to see how the agg looks...keep 'em centered (or so I've heard someone say)
Great shooting Erik. Congrats on 3rd in the team match. You think that barrel will speed up some being that new? 🤔 sounds like that Indiana team took full advantage of their home field advantage. 👍🇺🇸
Erik like watching all your good information i shoot 1000yrd vbr at ridgeway,Pennsylvania check it out it’s a lot of fun anyway how many rounds do you shoot before you start cleaning barrel lots of mix reviews on this topic
Here's a thing I keep thinking about when looking at the flags down range. Since the wind was blowing from the right to left in this example. If there are shooters in lanes to your right and they are shooting, the shockwaves from their bullets are traveling downrange and disrupting the wind all the way to the target. Wouldn't there shots cause a disruption in the wind and then that disruption gets carried by the wind over to your bullets travel path??? Also the people in the lane on your left can have their shots disrupted by your bullets travel path. If there's any truth to that then I'd always want the upwind lanes to shoot from.
@@ErikCortina gotcha ok, figured as much. I assumed you had your CBTO well sorted already so figured it wasn’t for fine tuning. I’m awaiting your review of the Amp Press, trying to decide if it’s worth it or just get a hydro press and save a whole lot of money. Also, do you run higher neck tension for PRS since you’re stripping rounds off the magazine I assume projectiles can get shoved back more easily than loading a single shot bolt gun?

I've got a feeling one of your old barrels might be better with a tuner than anything i own.
Thnx again for the update, see ya tomorrow!
Man yea! I would love to have one of his or F Class John’s “worn out “ barrels.
Congratulations on 3rd , at that level its quite an accomplishment! Great video
Thanks Eric
Congrats to the team!
PMA Tool makes great reloading stuff. I have the micro-die adjuster, really nice
Thank you for spending the time to,prepare the video.
Great shooting, Erik! Just bought a tuner from you and was happy to see you using one in your match.

TEAM INDIANA!
Erik Sorry we did not get more shooting and target impact video. But I understand your restrictions. Patron JP
Have you thought of trying a Bartlein barrel in their new 400BB steel?
No.
Brux just keeps winning, so I’ll stick with that. 😁
No CLR on the cleaning regime, I wonder if he found it detrimental?
He doesn’t “deep clean” in the field.. just busts the carbon out
I had CLR in my cleaning box. It was the clear bottle next to the patch out and accelerator.
what kind of stock is that? thank you!
Erick does that scope have an adjustable parallax because I didn’t see a third knob if not how did you shoot long range without it I’m very confused
It’s under the elevation ring.
It makes it ambidextrous.
So,, you being the “back coach” for your team,, does that mean you didn’t get to throw the freedom seeds?
I did both. I shot when it was my turn and then I helped main coach when I was not shooting.
What cart is that? I've been looking for a good one.
That looks like the collapsible cart you can get at Costco or Home Depot.
Yeah, cheap collapsible cart from Amazon.

sexy yellow case !
Hey, I use the same trash bag as one of the best shooters in the world!
😂
BTW - you said final seat at the range. You’re not adjusting anything I assume so is your neck tension so light that transport could set them back?
I was wondering the same thing.
Anything can happen, so yes, sometimes the seat themselves deeper. One way to avoid it is by seating longer and final seating before match.
