Driving for more or less 11 hours straight at night can really mess with your mind, especially if you're tired. Your brain gets bored staring at nothing but empty highway for hours and makes its own "entertainment"

Gotta say, post covid-19 delivery seems a lot nicer than before, some companies seem to have kept the knock/ ring door bell, take a photo of the package delivered and check someone gets it and leave kind of deal, which seems a whole lot safer for the delivery people.

It really is. I remember one time I had a delivery back in 2016 where it was just for two Oreo mcflurries which was kind of odd. But when I got to the drop off it was a dark street and the house lights were off. And I got a text from the customer saying that they were disabled and asked for me not to knock or ring but just come in.
So I texted my roommate if I don’t text back in 5 minutes. I’m at this address. Maybe call the police. Was genuinely terrified and shaking. If it weren’t for the door being locked I probably would have gone in because I was stupid. Luckily it was locked and I had to knock. Was an old lady in a wheel chair in the end.
So happy I can just drop, photo, and run to the next drop off these days.
