Hello Shiba-Shiba san! Does the Umeda sky building require any pre-booking and are there certain time slots you have to reserve? Also we will be visiting during golden week 5th or 6th may, do you think there will be long queues or a different admitance procedure if there are lots of people visiting? Thank you in advance for your reply!
Hi! Thank you for the comment. During the "Golden Week" the Umeda Sky Building may be a little crowded. You can purchase tickets online. It is necesary to select the date, but you don't have to fix the time to visit. See the link below for details. umedaskybuilding.partner.klook.com/en-US/activity/78669-umeda-sky-building-kuchu-teien-observatory-ticket/?aid=30372& Of course you can buy tickets at the ticket counter at the Umeda Sky Building. Although I'm not sure if you have to form a long queue, I think it's better to book online. If you have any other questions, feel free to comment again.😊
Hi Shiba Shiba, two questions: Is there lifts in all stations in Japan? I mean is there any stations that there is no lifts? Metro and Toei included. Secondly, on the way to Umeda station for taking the Willer Bus, is there lots of stairs to climb? 😅 Thank you.
Hi! In urban areas in Japan every station including Osaka Metro has lifts. Regrettably, I don't know whether all the stations of Toei have lifts because I live in Osaka and I'm a stranger in Tokyo area. I found a nice video to show how to get from Umeda Station to Willer Bus Terminal.🚎🚌 th-cam.com/video/x13ovp_2Xwk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=GL8dnYFdI_SOxJ8W If you have any other questions, feel free to comment again.😊
Thank you Shiba Shiba, I would like to know if I were to redeem the Osaka Amazing Pass, is it active on the day itself? Or do I have the option of activating it the next day? And secondly, the 2 days Metro pass is activated once I exchange it from a QR code?
For both the Osaka Amazing Pass and the Osaka Metro 2-Day Pass, the day you first pass it through the ticket gate is counted as day 1. Both can be used from the day you get them.😊
Thank you Shiba-san for making the video. Umeda Sky Building is one of the attractions I would like to visit when I go to Osaka in December. However, I have planned to go to Umeda Sky Building right after Osaka Castle. May I know how to get to Umeda Sky Building from Osaka Castle ? You have made a separate video on how to get to Abeno Harukas. May I ask if there is a difference between Umeda Sky Building and Abeno Harukas ?
Hi! Thank you for your comment. [How to get from Osaka Castle to Umeda Sky Building] After visiting Osaka Castle, take the JR Osaka Loop Line at Morinomiya Station and head to Osaka Station. Osaka Station is in the vicinity of Umeda Station. [differences between Umeda Sky Building and Abeno Harukas] Both of them are really nice places to visit. Umeda Sky Building is located in the north part of the central Osaka. On the other hand, Abeno Harukas south. Their view from the top is quite different. I would like you to see the different views. However, if you are planning to have lunch or dinner, I think Abeno Harukas is convenient. The lower floors of Abeno Harukas have a department store and restaurant areas. You will be able to see various restaurants. Of course, Umeda Sky Building has some restaurants but the number is less than that of Abeno Harukas. If you have any further questions, do feel free to comment again.
@@Shiba-Shiba_TrainsInJapan Thank you for your reply. I am visiting Osaka Castle and Umeda Sky Building on the same day because the admission for Osaka Castle and Umeda Sky Building is free if I use the 1-day Osaka Amazing Pass. The 1-day Osaka Amazing pass also provide unlimited rides on Osaka Metro for free. Instead of taking JR Osaka Loop Line, how can I get to Umeda Sky Building from Osaka Castle via Osaka Metro ?
OK. Now I see your situation. Take the Osaka Metro Chuo Line at Tanimachi 4-chome Station and head to Hommachi Station. At Hommachi Station transfer to the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line and go to Umeda Station.😊
Thank you Shiba-san for showing us where to find the lifts. This helps me and my companion soon🎉. Btw, Umeda is a little far from the nearest station 😢. It was a long walk 😅
Hi Shiba San, maybe just an idea, you might want to cover the J League stadiums around the Keihanshin area, as football, or soccer as you called it in Japan, is popular throughout the world. For example, I have been to Nagai stadium, the home ground of Cerezo Osaka, and it is amazing. I think there are other J League clubs in the Keihanshin area as well, like Vissel Kobe, Gamba Osaka and Kyoto Sanga. You could even show how to go to Koshien stadium, the baseball ground of the Hanshin Tigers! I have not been there before and i heard that the Koshien stadium is celebrating 100 years! I hope to visit Koshien during my trip to Osaka in December. Nice video always!
I have done a lot of research, but it is not clear. There are articles saying it "worked" and others saying it "didn't work on older machines", so it doesn't seem to be common in Japan yet. Really sorry I can't your question.
