- How to catch razor clam: We are looking for Razor clams in shallow water to cook and eat. With these methods you can catch your own shells and try them out. Razor clam taste fantastic and can be highly recommended. Other species we normally find as bycatch is cockles and steamers/soft shells.

That’s awesome! I’ve actually tried doing this before underwater but it didn’t work, I think I was salting gaper clams, not razor clams! 😂 You’ve inspired me to try again this year! 👍🏼
We got hit when we filled the whole bottle with nothing but salt. Then we pour it calmly over so that a pile forms over the shell. Was surprised by the good taste! Tasted great😊👍 Yes, its superfun to have some of these days in the sea. Maye you need it aswell😁

Thank you so much❤ Certainly a delicious dish. We highly recommend this. Yes, we found them at 30cm-2 meters deep. If the tide is low, we belive it's possible to pick them ashore🙂

Ja dette var morro, og veldig godt. Vi også tenkte saltet ville klumpe seg, men det gikk helt fint:)

Many people compare it to squid. We agree. It is the muscle behind that can be eaten. At least that is the most common part to eat. Tastes great. We follow mussel warning and any awoid any form of lokake leaks in the areas we pick when we are looking for razor clams👍 Gonna try one?😊

Yeah, just superchill and not hard at all. Thanks! You can eat razor clamps. You take out the muscle and remove the rest. We fried the muscle in the frying pan. Along with some accessories, it tasted great. We found these in shallow water

Bare salt. Fyller en flaske med salt og trykker/presser salt forsiktig ned på knivskjellet. Så prøver det å flykte pga. det😊

@@NordicGameFishAdventures I den siste filmen din ser jeg mange tomme skall etter knivskjell lignende rundt. Inne på 20-40cm grunne blant småstein/sand/tomme skjell. Kikk VELDIG nøye etter "øyne" på bunn.

Vi bruker salt. Heller den over toppen av knivskjellet. Den prøver å "rømme" for det blir for høye konsentrater av salt på ett sted. Det likern ikke
