THATS THE POWER OF THE IH TRACTORS. Better than AC. I have a 686 with german diesel and 666 with the American diesel. both straight pipe and sound great.
My vote on the 826 Wash it up, light compound to bring some the old paint back but keep that look to it. keep the cab but incorporate fenders with it. New exhaust stack. Great series tractors and good engine
good ol' 826. keep that cab on, it's nice to have, & the tractor is in too nice of shape. I love the sound of that eng and pipe combo! wash'er up bud and get some linseed oil or buff the paint out.
I grew up on a dairy farm, Dad bought an 826 about '70 or so (open station). Pulled a big Miller offset disc all day long. Dad and Grandpa had a Farmall M and an H, then a 400 high crop and a 300 utility, then in '59 ,got a 560 high crop, and a 460 utility... had a super C too... learned to drive on that one.... good ol days.... Saw an 826 in a museum a few years ago, don't think they made very many.... keep the cab, shade is good....
Excellent video :) also best tires get for back ones are brand of Cooper or Good Year Dyna Torque 2 or Firestone that what my got my dad tractor of 1963 McCormick B414 Loader tractor Desiel motor International B414 , 1968 McCormick International 105C combine gas motor also International 624 A 60 hp Desiel motor German one motor, 1978 International 724 B loader Desiel fuel motor 72 hp and ran excellent too sold all with farm in 1997!
All videos about old tractors allways ask if tractor starts, of course it will start if it stood in a barn and it ran last time it was put there, my 826 started after some 30 years staying outside, but with exhaust top on, if water doesn t get into the engine it starts, diesel runs for itself on these tractors.
There were only the 826 and 1026. Considered 56 series tractors. 826 was between the 756 and 856. With the German diesel it could be gear drive or hydro. Hydros were also available in gasoline and propane. If you wanted a gas, gear drive you had to buy an 856. The 1026 was available only as a hydro.
I was looking to see if anyone gave him that tip. I have one as well as my brother having a 756 with the 310 German, you will not find that trick in any manuals but it is how they start best.
Just found the channel. I have a couple of the 826 s. Pretty good tractor. Really good on fuel. With that being said that va Bosch pump is hard to get parts for. Can get seal kit but if the head cracks you have to change pump out to a ve off of a 1420 combine .it's a tic longer so you'll need lines also. Motor has single packing on liners so they tend to sleep over winter . Basically a cold leak. So change oil in spring before it goes to the field. Pull throttle shut off back part way to start position. That's how I bought my second one. The guy said it wouldn't start without either. I bought it for a song.
I have an 826 but I was raking with it and some how the front tire went flat flat and couldn't find the right tire and now we have to use a mx100 case ih😂😅

New to this channel. Turns me on to see all that Red lol. Keep the Cab on you have a real keeper there.
Just bought one
Awesome!! Great find!! Keep the cab on
Keep the cab pressure wash it give it a little polish and run it they're good tractors.
Put it back together and use it. Leave the cab on, that’s a better cab that IH used until 1978.
I would keep the Cab on the Tractor 🚜 be nice for rainy Days to go out and not get wet
The hydro dove tail trailer is a dam nice piece of equipment. And the big horse hooked to it makes for a sweet setup. Love the channel.
Good ta see young fella out there having a go betta than most CHEERS ROCK ON
Good find.
Clean it up re spray it and put it back out in the field to work.
I think it would look great with tires all the panels put on and fenders prusser wash it clean it up and use it on the farm be outstanding.

I would leave the cab on keep the old look to it
Good set of red tractors. Cheers
Cultivated broccoli on one of those for a week or so. It's a bad ass tractor.
Keep the cab! Add fenders
That is a" year around cab" made in north Mankato Minnesota. The company has been out of business for many years.

You know your history 👍
I would leave the cab on
White Oliver tractors that’s the ticket lots of power!!!!!
Love your channel by the way your very knowledgeable for your age good to see now a days
I like the sound of tractors I'm a tractor man how much was those tractor tires cost?
Leave the cab on
You picked up a gem. We sold IHC since 23, Never ran across a ‘26’ series, only ‘06’ 56 66 & 86 etc?
We’re in Canada, maybe that model was US only

Whatever you do don’t turn into a green man unless it’s Oliver lol
Runs nice
Cab on
cab on?
It will probably start even better than it does if you pull the fuel shutoff out until you feel resistance, then hit the button. I'd take the cab off.
I was looking to see if anyone gave him that tip. I have one as well as my brother having a 756 with the 310 German, you will not find that trick in any manuals but it is how they start best.
Does it have A/C cab

Cool deal
I have an 826 but I was raking with it and some how the front tire went flat flat and couldn't find the right tire and now we have to use a mx100 case ih😂😅
Take the cab off, put fenders with rop on.
You should add an 806 to your collection hahahaha I have one $8000 with a quick attach loader and cab hahahahahaha
Never would buy new 6 volt batteries, there are threaded holes for a battery platform on the right side under the cab.
wish i had a 826 again
Red is good
What would you take for the 384?
2500
Put a chrome stack on it
Take the cab off my dad and I farmed with an 826
when we farmed we put an M&W turbo on it I ours was an
1971 model
What did you pick that 826 up for?
cab off for sure
Leave cab on
I have an allis chalmers d15 industrial loader backhoe for sale I'm in ny
Take cab off restore
Those cabs or a pain in the ass and hot and loud, put fenders and a ROPS
I would go through the fuel system and clean the carburetor and rebuild the fuel pump so it runs properly
Tractor doesn’t have a carburetor it’s a diesel and runs just fine
You don’t look like a cab kind of guy to me
Repaint the tractor the whole tractor
Remove the cab
Take
The cab off
Leave the cab on
