So much fun watching this come together quickly. Very satisfying. I discovered you on Pinterest last week then on TH-cam a couple days ago. I LOVE your style!
Hello Mrs. MiMi I jus want to say I have really enjoy your sewing tutorials! I am an inspired designer from birth and you have really helped me put my design thoughts into perspective 😊 your awesome keep up the good work!!
The dress is so cute! It turned out beautifully. For a little while I wasn't sure what "interfacing" was. But I figured it out. I think it'd be so cool to sew an outfit like this.
Great pattern and fabric choice! I love your videos . 😁. Do you have any videos that show you doing the sewing step AND the serging step in a sew along? I'm super intimidated by my serger... it's still in the box! LOL
Love the fabric. Really love! I can see this dress as slightly Hi-Lo - maybe to mid calf in the back. Straight across hem lines are unflattering for my shape at that length. Although I don't have those altering skills yet, I am learning. I'd make at least three in different colors because it looks comfortable.
Hola! I love the green fabric that is in the picture for the dress. Does Melanated Fabrics carry this material? By the way, I got this pattern at JoAnn’s and the number listed on the packaging I bought is R10927.
I am going to be making this pattern. Can anyone tell me how to figure out the ease for the waist? There is no waist measurement on the pattern for the finished garment size.
I think that’s technically the proper way to do it always, although the most important thing (in my opinion) is to sew both sides of the skirt going the same direction rather than up one side but down the other side. Starting at the wide point and sewing towards the narrower is best practice, though I don’t 100% understand why. Just that the fabric won’t walk or shift while sewing that way. I’d love to hear what Mimi knows about this though because I never notice a difference as long as all sides are sewn in the same direction!
Love it, adding to my pattern Wishlist! Now, how to lengthen the skirt, without affecting the hem detail? Have you done a video in the past, showing how to lengthen or alter pattern pieces, that you can link🙏?
I am confused. I love this pattern!@ But a few videos ago I signed up for a news letter with a company for a free cardigan pattern and I can't remember where it is?? Can anyone Please help me? I apologize but I was so excited. I didn't write it down.
Hey...if you haven't found it yet. If you by chance signed up on the computer or on your phone...it should be in your history. Or go look through the video you were mentioning..for the site again. Hope some/any helped.... Good luck
So hard to follow. You don’t show the whole pience and wiggle it all over the table. I can’t figure the skirt out at all. Using both the video and the written pattern directions 🙁
This sew along was easy to follow! The dress turned out great, love the pattern!!!! ❤
What a great pattern I am 73 years young and I love this pattern.

Why does my same exact pattern have a different pattern number?
Is there a more detailed breakdown of this tutorial? New to sewing and it goes a bit quick in some places. 😅
These would be pretty in a maxi too. I love it!
Do you have any pictures of you wearing the dress?

I’m sold. Grabbing this pattern asap!
What interfacing do you use?
Clicked so fast when I saw the thumbnail! So cute!
LOL Thank you
Gorgeous! Why did you sew the skirt from hem to waist?

Wow! Beautiful!
How much fabric is needed for this dress?
Love it, adding to my pattern Wishlist! Now, how to lengthen the skirt, without affecting the hem detail? Have you done a video in the past, showing how to lengthen or alter pattern pieces, that you can link🙏?
Yes you can totally add length and keep the hem style
I will do a quick video on it.
I have this pattern! Wish I made it for the BHMPD21. I will make it with the fabric Brittany made her pretty slip dress. Whaddaya think?
@@MimiGStyleshow Thank you so much❤️

I believe so although not sure it's made its way there yet.
