Armored Core VI continues to look amazing. We've already had a crazy year in gaming but I feel AC6 could still steal GOTY. I'm so hyped for some crazy Mecha Combat. I've been a fan of the series for a very long time, but I haven't been this hyped for it in ages.
As much as BG3 is hyped and should be GOTY, I feel like it's format and depth will lose a ton of people unfortunately. On the flip side I feel like with how much QOL and Souls-like stuff AC is getting, it'll be way bigger than the previous installments combined leading to a pretty strong GOTY nomination.
Took me 11 months to realize that the person talking to Handler Walter is another someone who is the previous owner of 617, 619 and 620, as well as the one who has 621 in his "inventory" Previously though it was 621 who was talking xD
Can we spread titles out a little more please. You absolutely cannot tell me that big titles like this would sell less if they don't all come out at once. Months without any big releases and then we get BG3, Starfield, Armored Core, Remnant 2 and who knows what else in a span of 6 weeks or so.
@@Xero_Kaiser Street Fighter is still niche, Tears and FF16 didn't have a PC release and D4 is a crap shoot that i refuse to support. So yeah, as i said, lots of time without good major titles (on PC)
@@MrMucera I've noticed titles of other ganres that i'm interested in coming out near AC6 [about a month or two away] i'm fully committed to getting AC 6 [even preordered the premium collectors edition} but will also be thinking about titles like digaea 7 which will be out in about two months.
So I remember playing Armored Core as a kid.. And loving it... But I don't remember it having any real story.. Did the old games have much story? Cause this one's looks AWESOME!
The older games had a story but if you weren't reading everything being said you got lost in it really. Had to go back and play through them to remember.
I bet hounds are clones / living corpses that are put into a mecha to function like some microchip. the main character might have some personality remains, a will to break free or / and obtain a normal human body
yes. from the trailer before this, there are hounds and there are ravens. the ravens will be normal human piloted ac's. in previous ac games, you were the raven. the hounds in other games were known as lynx's.

just realized that hound used primal armor-or so it seems to destroy that ray gun. it was that or some sort of emp device.
It looked like it detonated it's energy core, sacrificing itself in the process.
They have confirmed that the Assault Armor function is coming back as an inside or extension part, but the PA capabilities are not afaik
