I'm so happy that I've found artist who like oil pastels they always get shit on even though I love them and the mentality of dislike towards them really started to get to me so I stopped using them for awhile but after watching you I've started using them again and I never have been so happy drawing :)

You have a great sense of color, naturally. Beautiful portrait. I took color theory and it helped but some people are just good with color naturally. You're very funny, and talented. Hope your artwork becomes famous, if it's not already. I LOVE Van Gogh. His life story is so sad though.

If you want to make your values more define and strong, start your painting with a color but not just plain white, it'll help you with colors and tones too
THANK YOU for the mini lesson on color and value. Been desperate to know how to paint portraits with "unrealistic" colors yet make it look realistic. Tried it before and it looked a mess. Will try again. You are a Blessing in my life!

Wondering if you've ever tried Portfolio oil pastels, they're by Crayola but nothing like the regular Crayola oil pastels and only cost a little more. I can only buy cheap brands and really like them, except unfortunately they apparently only come in 12 & 24 packs. Comparable to Mungyo, more smushy and melty than Pentel. They are water soluable and wondering if you ever incorporate water w/your oil pastels. Love your channel, thanks and remember us little ppl when you're a superstar!

Love ur artwork got me motivated to try and do oil paint again, oil paint isn't my favorite medium for me personally it's very hard to blend. I'm better at acrylic but watching ur videos has me inspired and motivated to try again and to not give up easy.

I've been watching your channel a lot lately. I started drawing in the 7th grade too when I was in Germany. I saw this girl drawing bubble letters, liked it, she taught me, and I went from there. I almost went to art school, but didn't.
