  • Welcome back to my channel. With time spiraling out of control we finally managed to get this 1957 Willys Station Wagon up and running. Although she fires up, a complication presented by the transmission fell into our laps. After getting scammed on our "rebuilt" 4L60E transmission. The time came where we were able to send it to a local shop. Days passing we regained possession of the transmission. While time ticks away, we got everything back up into place. Finally, she was able to move out of Park and made her first marks on the road. Having done our first test drive with open headers, it was time to send it off to exhaust. Proceeding with Magnaflow Exhaust for our 5.7L LT engine, we both were very impressed on how it sounded on the inside. With it being very quite internally, externally it provided a sweet rumble. It may seem as if we are close but we have many more things needing to be done.
A new member has joined the family. A 1947 Willys CJ2A with a 265 Small Block V8 out of a corvette, is now being restored. Keeping it simple this vehicle will be up for sale very soon. If you're reading this, go follow me on Instagram where you can get first dibs on the Willys CJ2A before a sale's advertisement and TH-cam video about it goes live.

Thanks, we appreciate all the support. When we had first made our purchase, the wagon sat on the original frame, also with the 226 flathead superhurricane. My father’s goal is to make it reliable so that everyone can drive it. Plus the extra horse power. While keeping the body completely original. If you haven’t seen our walkthrough video of the wagon, go check it out.

Where'd you get the t-shaped hood emblem? Only seeing very expensive options.

How does it drive and handle ? I’m tossed between doing a Wagoneer frame swap or using the stock chassis and and grand Cherokee suspension and axles up frond and 9 inch out back.

It drives very well, wanders over the road because we still got steering to figure out but over all handles very well. There’s lots of forums on frame swaps. One thing that we wish we had done was convert the suspension to coil.

@@CodyHicks That what I plan on doing. Either early bronco style or grand Cherokee, not sure yet. 4 link adjustable would be cool.

@@Terk131 That's awesome!! One thing I recommend, if you plan to make it into a crawler, don't make it all pretty looking, I make fun of my dad's mall crawler of a wagon he has created.

@@CodyHicks Not a crawler but a trail rig and she will be neat but definitely not pretty
