Great example of "No plan survives fist contact." They clearly had a plan (Turks) at the beginning but the second the armour play did not work and the infantry started to struggle they needed to regroup and try something completely different or try a faint. Great vid Moi. Loving your content.
completely agree. They just kept trying to brute force the chaos and it wasnt working. They should have fallen back and rallied a united effort to get the Logi into the city. Instead logi either worked alone, worked with an escort that was wholly insufficant, or even worse had an escort but barreled ahead with impatience making their escort useless.
NOT a bad analogy of what actual mechanized urban combat looks like and why modern ieds and anti-tank weapons are a bane on modern armor. I have some insight on the actual combat tactics of Turkish armed forces and they would rarely go 'blitzkrieg' like this unless there's great urgency for whatever reason. I think it only happened a couple of times in Syria, fighting against ISIS recently. 99% of the time they will back that tank column with TB2 drones and Firtina artillery to suppress choke points, remove kill-boxes and disperse ambushes. They will encircle the operations theatre, cut-off supply lines, create fire bases and pick up targets from afar wherever they can. It's crazy to me to have mechanized unites and not try to flank the enemy in this setting. A more similar recent example to this battle was the 'Hendek Operations' inside Turkiye's borders against the terror organization PKK. In that operation, the combined Turkish police/army forces utilized Cobra and Ural armored vehicles to great effect. In an urban setting, mobility and accuracy beat power and armor without a shred of doubt. It never was a great time to be tank crew but it's a particularly lousy experience in this day and age.

Yeah well, a game will always remain a game. Those M60T's have active protection systems to eliminate RPGs in real life. They saved a lot of lives and performed much better than Leo2A4s in Syria in asymmetrical warfare. In the game tho...
My team (the turks) didn't have a logi push up with our initial push or if one did, they didn't have enough build for a hab so we were waiting on our commander and his squad to finish back capping and bring their logi up so we could actually get a hab down
It probably is. Vehicle (and human) turrets have a maximum and minimum turn rate. It won't follow the mouse one to one. So it can be pretty tricky at close range.

Came into the round with only 30ish tickets remaining for the poor, sad, little Turks, and got clapped in a lavender field within a minute. And it was my first time in an EITS too -- all three minutes of it lying dead amongst the flowers :D -- though I wasn't aware of it til now. Always love the content, Moi. Thanks!
Thay was some great play of the Insurgents taking advantage of their mobility, Turks were also good quickly adapting to the situation unfortunately they fell short because of the Big brain IED bikes
Yeah this match was yesterday. I'm the lame guy that hit the two potential first cap with one UB-32 strike each. I had 46 downs but only 15 kills at the end of the game, so kinda assumed that I got a lot of downs on the backcap.

IMO i dont think IEDs should be spammed that much and that fast. It looks like a cheat code to me making matches boring. I know its the insurgents whole schtick but i think its not balanced. By the time you reacted to the IED its already in the middle of your squad most of the time.
You're going against full on military with a huge advantage, playing insurgents as an insurgent is what makes matches fun rather than trying to play as a conventional force because IRL conversational forces can't counter such unless it's countries like Russia who uses the scotch earth option which is quite effective.
