As someone who does not dabble into the world of K-pop, this is an insightful and entertaining episode of the padcost.
I hope that one day we'll get a Brodin as a guest, a man of enigmatic qualities. Pretty cool to see enthusiasm that Lily has, it's infectious.

This was such a big step for toast and even lily in terms of talking to a person they presumably don’t know very well on the podcast, they will only get better at talking to new guests, i cant wait for them to have more interesting people like Alexa on the show 😌
She tells her stories and experiences very well. She changes her tone very much in an enthusiastic way. I didnt get bored. She is so cool!
Toast commented about his abilities as a host but honestly, his being genuine and being himself is what draws the most out of these interactions. I agree that it's less smooth when they have guests outside the friend group, but it's TOAST. I just can't complain. BTW ALEXA is really COOL; it great discovering her out here.

I feel like if it was just toast and Alexa the video would have been more "structured"/"focused" and overall improved the podcast.
@@butterbeef8504 i disagree, i feel like toasts structure to the podcast is good but overall very been there done that, it desperately needs the energy of some one like lily in it every once in a while.
@@AbsurdAsparagus i think poki would have been much better for that than lily. it felt like lily didn't really add anything meaningful to the podcast other than saying "oh that's cool" . this episode was kinda lacking content wise compared to the previous ones.

Pretty cool to see Alexa here. I've listened to many of her podcasts, I miss "How Did I Get Here?", which to be fair was Jae's podcast, but it was infinitely better when they could bounce off each other.
Jae really became the bridge between OTV and kpop LOL

Alexa is such a cool and a very smooth talker lmao- she also has really good songs, I loved watching her after i started listening DIVE studios. She is amazing and adorable as well

I think he's just nervous/star-struck. Even Lily is acting and talking very differently in here, you can even see Toast semi-cringing in some of Lily's response/reaction lol
I love Alexa...definitely one of my favorite k-pop stars. She's so very genuine! Talented, sweet and so down to earth!
I'm not into k-pop but Alexa sounds and looks really cool, like that girl in a party that's genuinely funny and nice to everyone
As someone who knows next to nothing about KPOP this was a really interesting episode!
Lily and Alexa definitely match each other's energy and they definitely crush peoples assumptions about streamers being lazy and kpop idols being plastic.
I've always heard about her but never watched her MVs or looked into her at all. Now I feel like I've seriously missed out, she's so adorable!

Brodin needs to be a guest- he's constantly providing nteresting insights during each episode, even more than Lily who should've been able to talk about music but didn't.
Even though this episode was veeery cool (specially bringing people outside the offtv circle), I really thought the pace was kinda different. Not that it is a bad thing, but having 1 on 1 conversations as mentioned in episode 1, seems more fluid, specially for toast`s style of enterviewing. Great work as always!
I think it worked for this particular episode, because toast didn't seem to have much knowledge about kpop. So it helped to have lily bridge in that gap otherwise the 1 on 1 convos are great!!
Imagine Nabi with cameos in K-pop like stan lee. He already has Jae and Alexa who could possibly start it off in theirs.

Lily really helped the atmosphere the way she can match Alexa's energy, glad she was here to collab with Toast
I really do love Lily, but I have to wonder how the podcast would have gone if Toast was the only one hosting. There were some moments where Lily unintentionally cut off AleXa when she was talking about something, and would mainly only just compliment her repeatedly. However, I'm sure Toast was glad to have Lily there co-hosting.
I don't listen to K-Pop, I mainly only recognize the most popular group names. AleXa is so sweet, her personality is very welcoming and fun. She's also very engaging when talking, learning about her background and career was interesting. I think we might be getting more content with her in the future with OTV? Since I recall that they went to a Arcade together, and there was a group photo.
Edit: I see now in the description that this was filmed on October 4th. It makes sense now the vibe of the video, this would have been their second podcast episode that they filmed, if they had released it in order.
