My dogs come to me no matter what. They'll put their head on my lap and nudge my arm until I give them attention, then they start licking my hand. Kind of like 'you smile when you pet us, so pet us now, then smile.' Both my cat and my dogs are adorable and I love all three of them dearly.

I did it to my cat, pretending to cry but he ignores me. But I realized that when I’m sad and depressed, he can feel and be with me emphatically, hanging around me, wanting to pet him. I realized that he reduces my negative feeling and emotion.

I miss my dog, he passed away a few months ago, I was a child when he came into my life, he was like a little brother for me, we grew up together. I will never forget him.

우리집 댕댕이가 울고 있는 주인을 보고 다가와 눈물을 핥아주는 행위는 위로가 맞지만 이를 자주 보여줄 경우는 오히려 내 자신의 감정이 댕댕이에게 넘어가 댕댕이가 힘들어질 수도 있다는 건데요.
살다보면 어찌 눈물을 보이지 않겠어요. 그렇지만 댕댕이가 나를 사랑하는 만큼 내가 우는 모습을 너무 많이 보게될 경우 독이 될 수도 있다는 사실 이번계기를통해꼭알아둬야겠습니다.

@@haoweili8583 I'm not sure where cats seemed to have gotten the reputation for not caring...cats are actually very sensitive animals and do bond emotionally with their owners, especially if you rasise them from a kitten. They bond to you as if you were their parent. I experienced that first hand myself.

My Golden Retriever (Justice), always does this when I’m crying-I believe they want to distract us from whatever they think we’re “hurting/crying” about. He even brings his doggie 🐶 toys over to me-I’m like, “AWWWwwww”.

Don't worry. Your cat actually cares about you. I had a friend who couldn't keep her cat anymore because she had cancer and was preparing to die. So she gave him up to the clinic. Once she was left, the cat wouldn't eat or drink. He was starving himself. The workers there had to force feed him to keep him alive. And he would mostly vomit whatever they put in him. He was going to die. Plus he was too much hassle for the workers there.
After a month of this one day a woman who was looking to adopt him stayed with the cat in a room For a week. She kept patting him, trying to feed him. He still wouldn't eat. The cat soon grew attached to her and would eat again. The woman could finally adopt the cat and give him a chance to live.
Also when cats die, they run away so that their owners won't get sad. If this ain't love... I don't know what is.

This is true. My cousin once had a cat, he was growing old, one of his eyes had gone blind because of a fight with a stray. One day, he's crying so loud but then stopped, he just went so quiet after that and ran from my cousin when he called for him. He hid in a box, died there because he was too weak to run and the only way out aside for doors was the cherry tree on the side yard, guess he was not strong enough to climb it so he just hid. My other cousin (the older sister) was in a different city and she adored that cat because it was always been with her when she was alone in that big house. I cried when she said her last goodbye for him.
True, when our cat was suffering from an illness and dying... He run away from our house.. We look for him and found him in an abandon house which we can't enter.. After days, he's dead... I can still remember how painful it is.

That’s not true that cats don’t feel emotional pain and distress. When my mom passed away her favorite cat was right next to my mom’s coffin ⚰️ at the funeral laying there without eating and or drinking for hours. It was so painful 😣 for us to watch her grieving like that. She refused to eat or drink even when we tried to feed her favorite wet food. When we tried to move her away from coffin, she instantly run back near the coffin and just lay next to it. The cat was mourning.

Yeah when my grandfather died his cat would always sleep on grandpa's side of the bed and refused to eat or drink anything. She passed away in the same spot. Cats are very much attached to the owners but it's people who stereotype them and don't train or care for them. People try to treat cats like dogs but cats need a different kind of care

Can people stop saying cats are selfish? My cat is the sweetest cutie pie in the world. Recently her son we gave in adoption came for a visit and when he went back home my cat started crying looking for him and cuddled with me to cheer up.
It's because some people are ignorant about the fact that cat can sense emotions. They can differentiate fake and real. They will comfort their owner only if it's really genuinely sad.

고양이나 개나 인간이 생각하기 어려운 뛰오난 청력으로 소리를 듣고 판단 구별이 가능해서 주인들이 슬픈척 우는척 소리 내도 듣고 판단이 가능함 이 색히 또 장난질이네 이러면서대부분 같이 장난치죠 예를 들면 영상처럼 뛰어다니거나 그러져 아니면 그냥 무시하는 경우도 있죠 ㅋㅋㅋ 근데 진짜 슬퍼하는 우는 소리는 알고 위로해주거나 같이 슬퍼해줌 ㅋㅋ

Cats know when its fake and real djjd one time i was sitting on my floor, crying my eyes out (was not a good day, depression took over 😌) and my cat, who rarely comes in my room, walked in and layed in my lap, another thing she never does, she hates laying on people, and let me pet her it was the cutest thing ever

Cats do smell emotions cause I recently got my result and it wasnt what I was expecting and I was really sad and anxious so my cat came and she sat on stomach and purred really loudly and it genuinely relaxed me so much. Also my cat is really moody, sometimes she likes being pet and sometimes she doesnt so that really amazed me. Who ever says cats are insensitive well sorry to break it to u but u r dead wrong

개들도 누군가 정말 슬퍼서 우는 것과 아닌 걸 분간할 줄 알아요ㅎㅎ 게다가 그 대상이 사랑하는 보호자라면 그 사람의 신체적/정서적 변화를 정말 주의력 깊게 감지하는 동물이에요. 밀키의 행동은 아빠의 슬퍼하는 연기에 속아서 보이는 위로의 제스처가 아니라 보호자 분의 평소와 다른 모습에 놀라서 보이는 행동이랍니다. 밀키는 보호자 분이 갑자기 저런 낯선 소리를 내지르며 특이한 행동을 보이는 이유를 알고 싶은 거고 그런 보호자 님을 그냥 지나치기 힘든 거예요:)
