- Brittani Marcell says she woke up from her coma thinking she had been in a car accident before learning of her attack.

I healed!! Severe brain damage left temporal lobe! Took over 10 years to start feeling normal again. Severe short term memory loss, total amnesia for four months. Drooling, unable to read, slept over 12 hours a day. Couldn't walk. Then a year later assaulted with a cast iron frying pan. Inflammation of the dura mater. Unable to walk. Had to crawl on my hands and knees for Few weeks. I'm a walking talking miracle. I was 33 am now 67.
My major dis-ability now is I can function for 5-6 hours the exhaustion sets in and I have to sleep.
Ramona Ray wait- so you had a brain injury were almost back to semi normal and then you were assaulted? And you then had another brain injury and basically had to start over?? How did you get your first brain injury??
missychelle33 I was in a head- on and in a coma, as I mentioned I lost my memory, Two young twins hit me. My daughter died. I had a crushed #6 vertebrae, Frx all my ribs, lol my left knee was mushed. I was blind also as I had damaged the third cranial nerve. Anyhow I was sent home, no therapy. Nada. But I remembered Patricia O'Neil an actress who had a massive stroke and her husband forced her to walk and learn to talk. And I forced my self to walk etc. I got better but as I mentioned it took a long time. I still have short term memory loss but and it's worse when I'm tired. But I've learned all kinds of memory tricks. I'm a walking talking miracle just like her. I should have ended up a quadriplegic yet here I am.

Omg😪😢 so sad. When her sister said she couldn't even hold her head up in the wheelchair and was like who would do this to my sister? I started balling. Having a little sister I cant even imagine. I'm so happy she survived!

This story made me cry. I’m glad brittani made it. Her mom is an absolute pillar of strength. She literally went back in to save her daughter regardless of if he was there or not.

18 year sentence for him. He still refuses to acknowledge any guilt having plead no contest. However, he also refused to provide any explanation for why his DNA was recovered at the scene. Once his 18 year term is completed, he will spend 2 years reporting to a parole officer. He held up his fatherhood as a defense to argue for a suspended sentence. Instead, he'll spend the rest of his children's childhood, adolescence and young adulthood incarcerated. One day, when they're smart enough to understand the situation, they will have difficult questions for their father.
This piece of crap will only serve 9 years. He manipulates, he showed that by turning on the waterworks when he was convicted . Thought he could sway the judge. No woman anywhere will ever be safe with him loose in 9 years. That's why I'm a firm believer in the death penalty, guns and tazers,
