    Sect - Spectrum Next
    those2again.it...
Once upon a time two crazy men created a strange shoot-em-up called Retro Virus.
Some thought they wouldn't dare raise their heads again. But no!
They are back with this delightful little baby ladybird saving side scroller (no, honestly).
Prepare for 10 levels of quirky scrolliness and hair tearing aplenty.

@@WoolyChewbakker Try to take any 8 bit or even Amiga and Atari ST and program a game in BASIC that scrolls the whole screen at a playable framerate and there are about 10 sprites.
      You'll find it's impossible.

@gurujoe75 Uh, Boriel ZXBASIC on the ZX Spectrum does just that :-)
Also on the ZX Spectrum Next, its inbuilt BASIC does it as well.

@@WoolyChewbakker BASIC and compiled BASIC are two fundamentally different things. And neither can handle parallax scrolling an entire image with ten sprites.
Traditional BASIC is an extremely slow thing.

@gurujoe75 Ypu clearly don't understand what the ZX Spectrum NEXT is capable of. It runs 14 times faster than the Commodore 64 and has 2MB of memory, hardware screen scrolling and support for 256 hardware sprites, and many other advanced features while remaining a Z80 computer.
