We are planning to come check it out for a couple of weeks around November time. Would you suggest staying in the Marina to get the best feel of what it would be like living here?
As a woman (also coming from Finland where men dont even hold the door open for pregnant women or grandmothers) I found dating in Dubai very refreshing. As a woman you get a lot of respect and kindness from men. Also because there are so many “freelancers “ in the city, I do see that once men find someone nice and decent, they put more effort. While effort is completely vanishing in the west, I felt incredibly respected, appreciated and feminine while staying in Dubai. I also know this is not everyone’s experience, but I think a lot of those girl run after whoever has the deepest pockets and then wonder why they get disappointed.
