I found a version of these packaged together without the makeup at a thrift store a few years ago. It’s still one of my favorite finds. I’m honestly not the biggest fan of the anime, but I love the Powerpuff Girls in general and I think the dolls are super super cute (:

Absolutely love your approach of highlighting older/lesser known dolls. A lot of those niche dolls are my fav too, and they're usually going to be much more near + dear to your heart if there's some nostalgia there. Keep making videos about the dolls you particularly love!

the packaging of these dolls is some of the coolest i’ve seen, it’s so bright and colourful and the layering of visuals is soo nice!!! i’d love to have these nib someday, magical girl dolls are so sick
I love that you’re not afraid to unbox them. I can’t fathom spending extra money on something like that and then forcing myself not to touch it.
You could definitely use the makeup compact and turn it into your own version of the belt
I remember back when mcdonalds used to give actually good toys they made surprisingly big dolls very similar to these that were more action figure than dolls since the clothes were molded plastic instead of fabric, I had a bubbles one that I loved so much but my parents were slightly home of phobic and I gave it away thinking it would make them happy, the word of the day is regret
What issue did your families have with the dolls? Never saw PPG as a very “gay” show (despite the rainbows! Lol)
I was wondering what your thoughts are on adult oriented fashion dolls. A lot of doll brands, like Barbie or monster high etc, do have collector dolls aimed at older fans. But for the most part, they tend to aim primarily at a general younger audience. But I was surprised to find out there are some fashion doll lines out there that aim primarily at adult collectors like Integrity Dolls and those anime style ball jointed dolls among others. I feel like it might be an interesting topic to cover.
I'm primarily a playline collector, but I've recently gotten more into collector-oriented dolls recently too. Particularly Silkstone Barbies, which I've developed a minor obsession with.

I think I was one of the few rare people to actually like the anime. I'm very surprised that they made dolls out of them though! They're so cute😊

This girl gets it. I watched the entirety of Ojamajo Doremi Sharp on 360 3-part youtube and I still cried my eyes out at the end. Good times.

Love the idea of this series. Personally it’s more interesting than modern dolls that get covered by everybody (not that content on modern dolls is uninteresting, obviously)
When I first saw Steffi Love, I fell in love because she looked so done with life.
A little sad these are the low-quality brand, but impressed that they made dolls for this show at all and that the costumes are so accurate.

I've always been a tomboy myself and I loved her outfit already in the anime, but the doll version of her with the snapback and all... I just can't!
The music from this anime was too damn good. Even the transformation music was so good. -Loved seeing these dolls, thank you for sharing them. I think I want to take a crack at making my own.

Bubbles was my fav as a kid but as I've gotten older... I've become more of a Buttercup. 👊🏾💥
I loved Buttercup more when I was younger (tough & kickass!) but now I identify more with Blossom (exhausted leader syndrome lol)
Not having the voice over in the last shot with all the dolls, having you point at them with the scissors, gives off such threatening vibes lol.

These are so cute! I've admittedly never actually watched Powerpuff Girls Z (though I've been meaning to for years at this point), but I did watch the original cartoon a lot as a kid, and even had the movie on VHS.
LOVE the way that the Japanese make their dolls... There are also the pitchi pitchi pitch dolls but they are almost impossible to find...
These dolls arent japanese, These were made in spain back in 2011
Powerpuff Girls Z was one of my favorite anime for a while, so it's super nostalgic seeing this!

These are super cute! I never knew this series existed!! When I was little I was obsessed with the Power-Puff Girl Movie, and of course my copy was on VHS lol. Lowkey got into drum & bass music from the intro lmao! I know this is off topic, but old makeup will not send you to the E.R. girl lol at most a rash, or irritation if you have an allergy to a certain ingredient. I literally have a lipstick and blush from 1997 that I still use to this day lmao. It's Chanel I can't just toss it *hair-flip* lol
Here is the thing tho: they weren’t exclusively sold in spain. Whenever my family and i traveled to portugal (twice a year) we would see these sold in “chinese stores” they basically buy toys and clothes and everything for cheap and resell them at a good price hence why these figures where seen often in those stores while the Portuguese dub was airing on tv

I just started watching ppgz but in the classic and the z cartoon blossom acts like a mom in the show and plays around with her sister sometimes it’s so sweet and cute of them all to be a sister group/sbff (Sister best friends forever)

Can I just say how much I love your set up? As if you have a major world announcement with hundreds of reporters & newscasters with your giant 1970's microphone. ...which for us, Anything doll related is a major news announcement. I absolutely love it. I'm not a big anime fan but I am a powerpuff girls fan and I like these. I just wish they made dolls of the villains especially "Him". How awesome would it be to get a doll of everyone's favorite homosexual devil...."Him".

I normally don't like molded on clothes but I do like the bodies on the later edition ones better I think. The second outfits are cute, and I actually don't mind Buttercup hair. I might have to try and track these down on ebay now I didn't expect them to be so cute. 😂

The Powerpuff Girls in Barbie form? Cool! Sign me up! Although I already have Bubbles from the wave where it has both the corresponding Powerpuff Girl and their “Power Belt” which is what I call it. Also, I’ve recently done their heads and neck of the “anime” redesign based on the “Powerpuff Girls Z” anime - I haven’t done the rest yet. I just love these designs a lot.
