Ah thanking you! There's more parts to come...its a stunning hike for sure. My grandad lived near Pwllheli for years so we holidayed alot around there too x
Nice one .enjoyed that. Im walking the Wales coastal path in stages but last one was Caernarfon to Trefor last February. Trying to find the right time to get back down so will be watching the rest of your Llyn Peninsula series. You should have gone up the big mound at Dinas Dinlle .easy walk and great views. That road bit is a long way though .so glad to see the Trefor sign
My Grandad used to live near Pwllheli so it was kind of a reminiscing hike for me n my dad as we holidayed there alot. All the good stuff is after Trefor the caernarfon to trafor section was pretty underwhelming. Was the mound an alternate route that cut out the road?
@@thefun-employedadventurer3011 the big mound is at the village Dinas Dinlle ..after the airport when you walk along the beach and reach the village .its there. I filmed up there.
Ah yea I remember it near the beach shop...I was pretty disappointed they haven't been able to make the trail go up there n skirt the coast on that section instead of taking you inland for a 10 mile road stomp 🤣
@@thefun-employedadventurer3011 I did the 2 stages from Menai Bridge to Caernarfon and then to Trefor back in Feb as they are probs the most plain section and weather didnt matter. But looking at views between Trefor and Nefyn .need a clear day. Did the Cleveland Way this summer which was great but I dont camp as big packpack would do in my already dodgy knees
Ah thanks...I think my dad plotted this it's pretty well sign posted though n just keep the sea on your right n you're pretty much good it part of the Welsh coastal path so a pretty well walked trail
Cheers dude are you doing the full Welsh coastal or the peninsula? We parked at the back of the castle right by the coast...if its gonna be stormy there your car might get abit salty though. The caernarfon to Trefor section though could be missed out if you're shirt for time, it gets crazy beautiful after Trefor
I think it's called berts campsite I would recommend it's eco friendly and the showers are the best I've had at any campsite. The beach is a stones throw too and there's a restaurant or a ale pun further up the road
looks stunning,,,Wales never fails 👍
Beautiful 😍 we stayed at Dinas a lot. Love the whole area ❤ good vid!

@@thefun-employedadventurer3011 just the peninsula but also doing the Pembrokeshire coast path aswell so eventually I would like to link it all up.
Would love to do this walk. What was the name of the campsite please?
