- From the day I met Key to him turning 1 year old. He changed a lot over a year! He went from black to silver, to black again and then to black and grey, but he's always kept his brown ears. And his eyes turned from dark brown to bright amber!

OMG I'm in tears. What a sweet video of baby Key. My heart just went thud. You can tell he was a character even then. His distinct personality was beginning to develop early. Their colouring changes so much as they grow. It’s funny how Key looks like a badger to begin with, now he has the most detailed mask I’ve ever seen on a husky.
He does have a very unique face, not many huskies have the sideburns he's got :)

@@mamaluvbug987 I think that was a mark on his fur, too bad they change a lot and some of this marks go away, I have a husky too and he's golden brownish white, he used to have a big arrow pointing to his head as if someone used a ruler to trace it, then as he change or shed fur it modify and looked like and eagle soaring in his back, now is just a mark across his back. 🥺

Its wild how their color changes so much. I had a german shepard same thing.
I'm amazed with the face patterns on him!,how they change so dramatically as he ages. Keyush is one beautiful husky,and such a handsome face!❤️❤️❤️👍😘

When my doge was a puppy he was almost all black and a little bit brown but now, two years later he is half black and half brown
My puppy’s they were mainly black a little brown. Now 2 years later there black and with more brown!
Maike Jackson my sister thought she was getting a brown dog she got a very very red husky and to this day he is still a ass but we love him

Tears all around. As I watched, the memories of my past friends came rolling back. I’ve been fortunate enough to introduce a new puppy to my older dog as one crosses the rainbow 🌈 bridge, taking a piece of my heart with them as the new puppy fills that gap in my heart. I know those eyes, you my lady have a wonderful friend who loves you, and Key knows how much you love him. Cherish that bond for not everyone knows it’s power. As I approach 60, I don’t fear death in my later years, I fear not being able to experience the joy of bringing a new puppy into my life and reaping the rewards of watching them grow and experience their own life.
I'm so heart broken for you Rick, that's so sad, but I'm glad you have someone new to help you through the loss. Keep smiling
you’ve got decades ahead of you yet heeder... but when it finally comes time for you to cross that rainbow bridge, your old friends will all be waiting on the other side, tails wagging.
I know the feeling. I 'm almost 64 and lost my last 2 Border Collies to the Rainbow Bridge last year. I don't know when I can have another with my knee problems now. It just seems when you get older, it's one thing after another. Hopefully, I can get this knee healed and be able to keep up with a puppy or adopt an older rescue BC girl who's been abandoned or whose former owner died.

I'm glad we found your videos ... Meiko never talks until he watches the videos with me... It's amazing to see him finally find a voice as a service dog he was trained early on to be quite. I like that's he's coming out of his shell and being more vocal. Now if I could just get him to stay near me if off the leash ... That would be great! Any tips? He's always been on a leash and kenneled trained... But as he's getting older I would like to take him out for hikes and let him run but not risk loosing him... With Coronavirus he's been pent up from our dog park for 3 months... And it's got to be hard on him :(

Great video and music. Isn't life special? What I love is his mask. It is so interesting. As I look at photos of my husky who lived till she was almost 14 I really noticed how she lost most of her mask as she got older. I read that the mask of the dominate male and female wolfs are more pronounced then those of the lesser males and females. I assume its the same for huskys

@wobbly nostrils Or Dogs. Who live in packs. With elders and family. And stay until they die. The other minor points being, species who leave their parents do so when mature and ready. Naturally.
@wobbly nostrils Yeah, dog domestication causes huge problems just like that, and dogs have been domesticated for a few thousand years.
I would say neutering pets, ( if you have to have them) and taking from shelters not breeding. Let them grow up in the household. There's tens of millions of dogs culled each year because they have no home and the humans "don't want them".
