I really like this family. It's important that inclusive environments exist and that people, especially children, are heard. Their voices mean so much, and too often, we fail to listen. This was a really important effort to make the Mansfield family feel welcome and included.

    I'm not crying, you're crying...yeah...OK...I'm crying.
Her face when Tink signs to her is just heartwarming, along with when Minnie tells her she's learning to sign.
    Heart strings are pulled. :)

Reminds me of Miracle on 34th street, when the mother told Santa that he did not have to talk to her, she just wanted to see him. He knew exactly how to “speak” with her. Thats how you knew he was real.

THIS IS BEAUTIFUL!!! and i love that disney isn't using this as a self promo. they aren't saying: "come to the parks to experience this kind of magic." they are just showing us that they care about you no matter what. no matter who you are.

A lot of their cast members do know ASL too which makes this all the much better. There’s a video of Anna signing VERY fluently

I just learned about Shaylee she’s on our Wikipedia homepage. This is another reason to make me love TH-cam because it helped people like her and she’s just telling Christmas stories with sign language.

I have never had to live in that world, but I do remember one magical moment I had at the former MGM Studios... ...there was this Hunchback of Notre Dame stage show. All of the characters and performers were spot on, but I noticed a cast member in the front row. She was using sign language with a guest. But it was different... ...that cast member was SINGING!!! How?!? How could she sing using sign language?!? It was so incredibly amazing, that I think I watched her perform the songs for the remainder for the performance. That was almost 25 years ago, and still amazing.

I am someone who has Albinism so I have low vision. Legally blind. Disney World has found a special place in my heart because of the cast members. They understand and are always there to help me out. Whether that means getting a closer seat to a stage or not being in the sun too long during lines. Disney has found that special place in my heart. Thank you Disney Cast members for everything you do for me and others of any disability! We love you all so much. Us probably more than others. Your are the ones who truly bring us the magic we won't be able to expirence otherwise. Again thank you. Can't wait to see you this November.
And I have learned a little bit of ASL (American Sign Language) myself! Have been able to communicate a little bit. It's not great and it's been a while.

This video touched me deeply. I know the struggle is real! We all come from different backgrounds and feel like we are left behind. I have a sister with special needs and all I can say is that Walt Disney World is the only place in the world where she feels she can be herself, she feels safe, accepted and welcomed and all of the cast members treat her with respect and make sure she has a magical day! I have been going to Disney World since 1982 and I have learned from Walt Disney’s values through his life, career, works and parks. His legacy is still alive thanks to all the cast members that believe in the Disney magic! Every time I go, I see all the cast members doing their best to provide guests the best experience ever!! Love you guys, keep it up!❤️

I went to Disneyland Paris last summer (2019) and all the staff members we met spoke French and at least some English. Just because there’s so many people with both languages that come. I would say probably both or at least a pretty good understanding of the second language.

Time to "Let Go" of the Face Coverings!! In American Sign Language, facial expressions are an important part of communication. The facial expressions you use while doing a sign will affect the meaning of that sign. For example, if you sign the word "quiet," and add an exaggerated or intense facial expression, you are telling your audience to be "very quiet."
