I love that you posted this with all the mistakes included! I often get so frustrated when trying to bake and feel like something must be wrong with me. Now I will look at it differently, what did I learn? THANKS BEV. Hugs to you, Howie and Gracie girl ❤️
Thank you for sharing this fail, I have had many events like this in my kitchen with varying outcomes and the "Gracie approved" at the end is priceless! I have learned so much from you, take care, and God Bless. ♥️👍
I so LOVE the Beautiful Canadian Lady with big hands! ;) Love that Canuck ingenuity, yeah said it once and I'll say it again: Poppa done hit the LOTTO with you Mrs. V! :D
Oh Bev, I just LOVE YOU - Who else would be willing to show their "mistakes" - - - but You : ) Thanks for being so transparent, honest & humble !! ~ You're the Best Bevvvy Crockpot !!!!
Thank you for uploading this. I was feeling a little down in the dumps, and watching you power through was helpful. I always need to remember to keep moving forward in a positive direction no matter what.
I love the fact that you show us your mistakes. I would package the scraps and put it in the freezer, taking it out only when you need it. Would love it in oatmeal, or farina, perhaps in yogurt. Thank you for being honest and genuine all the time.
Definitely need to make this granola! Thank you, Bev! Regardless of whether it was a success or fail in the beginning, if you used it and enjoyed it...it was a success.
Sprinkled on yogurt sounds yummy no such thing as a mistake just a new way to make healthy mummy granola you got a twofer bars and granola thanks for sharing another great recipe Bev.
l followed a Laura Bar recipe, and l think Dates are the key, there sticky to hold things together, made DYI Costco's copycat recipe last week, and first time making any kind of granola, and OMG, it was delish. Sue
Sorry Bev, but you made me laugh out loud when it was STILL falling apart and the sound of your voice. Priceless. Made my day, hope you don't mind. :) I was having a meeting at my house and had made cranberry streusel cake, but I didn't wait the 15 mins required to turn it out and it fell apart just like your granola bars. I had to leave for church and the meeting was later that day. Living in a rural area there was nothing open to buy anything. Thankfully I did not throw it out. I served it in bowls with whipping cream and everyone wanted the recipe!!
Hi Bev, I'm sure they were delicious:) especially with all those great ingredients you used! It's o.k. to mess up once in a while, that's how I learn anyway:) I have a super easy granola bars recipe. I will send it you if it's o.k. It's really good, versatile, and easy to make. You should try it, it will become you favorite! Have a wonderful morning Bev, I hope to see you on the chat later:)
Bev, serious question. Didn't you say Howie is diabetic? How can he safely eat this? Maple syrup, honey and chocolate chips? I don't know a whole lot about it but I thought sugars, even natural ones made it worse?
LOL! That's what happens to me when I try to make new recipes!! I prefer you make my mistakes for me cause I get mad and start crying or cussing!! Luxury granola with all good things in it!!

I think I love the fiasco as it is! It looks yummy, and I like that you got both bars and crumbles! Another winner, in my opinion. 🤗
great to have the explanation of what went wrong, thank you for a great recipe and a learning experience! Cheers from Vancouver Island :)
Lol! Thanks for the laughs. Good job Bev!

Thank you for sharing this video. We all make mistakes in the kitchen. You could sprinkle the leftover crumbs on icecream.

Ree Drummond (the Pioneer Woman) has the best granola bar recipe I have ever had. Just made some yesterday.
Awe honey even a failure is a win for you. Thanks Bev 🙏❤️🙏
I absolutely love this REAL video,, how many people actually put this out???? You go girl. Love all your videos, wish I had discovered you earlier!!
The scraps can also go in plain yogurt. That would be yummy 😋
Definitely need to make this granola! Thank you, Bev! Regardless of whether it was a success or fail in the beginning, if you used it and enjoyed it...it was a success.
You could use the crumbles as crumbles on top oof a pie! Looks delicious! Priceless video! Honest and informative!
Doesn't have to look good, to taste good and be good for you!! :)...I would choose yours over store bought any day!! :)
You still salvaged it. Good for you
Love this!! I'm definitely making these!❤️
"Nothing is a failure as long as you learned something." That's true. Beautiful honey, too.
Sprinkled on yogurt sounds yummy no such thing as a mistake just a new way to make healthy mummy granola you got a twofer bars and granola thanks for sharing another great recipe Bev.

You made me laugh. It looked so good.
Well Bev, looks like some really good granola. Or ice cream topping.
Thanks Bev for the recipe!

I will be trying this tomorrow!
I would just gobble it all up by the handful. I have no self control when it comes to granola. Dangerous stuff! Thank you for sharing!
When she said "three weeks" of granola bars for Howie, I just snort laughed! I could eat that entire batch in, at most, three days LOL 🙂🙂
@@oldbroad7672 Exactly!
That was fun!
Over icream or mixed through yoghurt 🙂❤️
I see this as granola, to be eaten over yogurt, ice cream, you name it!
Coconut oil..... I use it my recipe...... perfect every time
And I don’t bake them at all!
What a delicious mistake, you have just invented your new recipe. Tasty eatings. Thanks for sharing 👍😎 yum
I would add it to the top of a muffin before baking.
its also really good in yogurt.

You give me courage in my kitchen 🙂
Oh, great! You gave me a use for all the oats I have that are getting ready to go out of date!!
Either way, it IS still edible, and you still got your thumbs up! Howie and Gracie approved!
Enjoy
I love that you are real!! 😁😁😁
I actually make something similar for a topping for brownies, Pies, cakes, applesauce etc, my kids love it! As long as it tastes good then no worries.
Oh God's, im not the only one ... 😂😂😂 ... Love you Bev!
I love your videos. Coconut oil would’ve helped keeping it together as well.
Dear Bev, only a seasoned TH-camr would post a 'failure' video. Thank you for sharing.
What about using it as an ice cream topping?
Might carob chips be a healthy alternative to chocolate?
I use them in my recipes. They're great.
You did a great job I don't think you fail life is trial and erra you did great
Bev what about topping for a crumb cake... O no ...what about using for making a pecan pie ?
Yup. Looks like some of my misadventures! lol
Maybe molasses added would help.
Ice cream topping?
Don’t ask meeee! I’m not the cook! Lol
ERROR - What error, mistake...I see two for the makings of one thing...That should do it!!!!
No fails if it tastes good
Bev, serious question. Didn't you say Howie is diabetic? How can he safely eat this? Maple syrup, honey and chocolate chips? I don't know a whole lot about it but I thought sugars, even natural ones made it worse?
