Hi i just wanted to ask whether other gypes than ffpe types of fixated tissues can be used with your kits. Can one also stain cells which were cultured in vitro and fixed with pfa??? Thanks a lot in advance.
Hi David, my understanding is that the denaturing procedure that us used to strip antibodies is going to kill many of the native epitopes, so in theory it's possible to use cells etc, but only if your antibodies are targeting epitopes that survive heating. Cheers - Nikolay Samusik, CEO Parhelia Bio
