I love that you covered the story of Chalino Sanchez. What’s even more tragic is that 12 years later his son Aden would follow in his father’s footsteps as a singer of Mexican Corridors and while starting off his tour in Sinaloa Mexico he too would die on a road in rural Mexico at an even younger age than his father was.
As a former temp worker, my heart goes out to Day & his family. Such a shame! I was a single parent & worked in the secretarial field & was required to do tasks that were outside of my office admin college degree training. One in particular was having to walk thru the very narrow path in the plant's floor with machines whirling loudly & closely around to take messages to personnel. It was terrifying and dangerous.
The fate of the young warehouse worker who was killed on his first day is truly heartbreaking. In the UK employers can face criminal prosecution for negligent acts such as this, a fine is meaningless. My heartfelt sympathy to his loved ones.
Yeah here in the U.S. productivity of the shit they sell is way more important than any life and it's ok because the mfers that make up these fuck rules always make sure money is more important than life .

I worked for a social organization that worked with sexually exploited youth on Vancouver’s East Side when those disappearances were taking place. It was well known that there was a serial killer roaming our streets but police weren’t doing anything about it since they were prostitutions. So if you are killed due to negligence at work you get $250,000 for your family but if you die from a botched skydiving attempt your family can sue for 40 million? This world is fuckin ridiculous
You can sue for any amount you want, you just have to convince a jury that’s how much you deserve in compensation. In the case of the negligence, the family accepted a settlement, and likely signed several legal dosimeters agreeing not to sue, and not to disparage the company in order to receive the settlement. Since the family was poor, 250k likely seemed like a huge amount and they probably felt like they couldn’t win in a fight anyway. The 40 million was likely largely punitive damages since 20 people had died at that place. I sincerely doubt the family got much, if any, of that judgement. The business likely filed for bankruptcy and sold whatever they assets they had to “satisfy” the judgement. I’d be willing to bet the family got like 100k when that was over.

In the story of Orville disappearing barefoot in the mountains, it's curious that they didn't comment on whether or not the boots they found were possibly his. Another thing that occurred to me is that people suffering hyperthermia are know to shed their clothing at some point, as the body will feel hot when they are pretty far gone with it. Though they feel hot, the shedding of clothes often finishes them off. I'm not very knowledgeable of the subject but I would imagine that one would be a bit delirious by that point...thus ignoring the searcher's calls and gun shots.
Hi John, Your camping, and hiking stories have mostly scared the SH** out of me. I always wonder why these people do these trips without satellite phones and proper weapons. It is America most of the time and I am always amazed at how America being such a gun culture, never seems to have weapons to protect themselves. I love camping and trailing, but I'll tell you what: I would rather camp and trail in the South African bush, with serious wild animals, than in your country. Possibly, so many scary things happen there because of the vast size of your parks, and the size of your county's population. LOL. Scary stuff ! Thank you for all your wonderful stories.
🤔💭 The story about Barbara .. The woman who disappeared while walking with her friend's husband Jim... When he said that the dogs couldn't pick up her scent anywhere on the trail.. I started thinking that it makes more sense for Jim have taken her somewhere else besides that trail to assault and kill her, than for him to turn his back for 5 seconds and her disappear forever within that 5 seconds. That need to interview Jim again and find out where he Really took her 😭
You the man...I love your videos ..or what ever you call them... you rock my man.. plus your a seal .. I love the shit you do ..keep up the good work.....💪🤟
1st story is wild cuz if they so worried about productivity they ignore safety issues...doesn't cleaning up a dead body take time and lose productivity as well. More so then if they just followed the proper safety protocol to begin with? 🤔
For any of you old school 🏫 horror classic George Romero's original Night of the Living Dead , black and white of course will remember the classic line and how it ties in to the second horrifingly shocking story.... "They're coming to get you Barbara!" 😮 That's a classic few will remember. If you do PLZ let me know...

I don't feel like he did this but after a terrible fight at least say your going to be late so your girl stays inside and waits for you.
I work for a paving co. In Florida, we use temp workers to control traffic, flaggers,😮 unfortunately, we call them rent a drunk. It's true, we use heavy equipment and we rely on them to keep us safe. I've learned to never trust them. I look at traffic myself. Do not trust them. Sad.
Damn, I just moved to Las Vegas NV and I needed a job quick so I went to labor max. They told me that they constantly need flaggers, so I went and got my flaggers card. Im 36 and I don't drink at all and haven't in about 10 years but I'm also clean and sober just some pot which is legal out here. But now I know why I get looked at differently when I go there for work.😂😂
I wonder if this is true all over. I always wonder why the “flag workers” around by me never use flags and never seem to be watching nor paying attention. I never feel as tho I can’t trust their hand directions.

Why wasn’t a panic button with 🚨 sirens and flashing lights installed inside the hospital autoclave?? Better still a bolt or blocker attached to the hinges of the door itself every time it’s opened until locked shut? What ever happened to PROTOCOL? Are there any professionals left on Earth ? 😬😳🧐😱
As a current warehouse worker myself, sadly I resonate with the story about the temp worker that died on his first day, these warehouse jobs really do value productivity over the wellbeing of their employees

He's not lying about temp agency employees. One place I worked was an industrial medical supply lab. We consistently worked near HIV positive blood samples that leaked. Also, we filled small vials of chemicals from a large pump in an assembly line type scenario. Our shift manager was in a huge hurry to fill an order and turned the formaldahyde pump to twice the recommended speed. Myself and my coworker did very well for the first three hours, but then, our line slipped and dumped the formaldehyde in our laps. It soaked right through my lab coat and into the crotch of my work pants. Needless to say, my literal ass was on fire. We had chemical burns, but when we asked what to do, were told they didn't have showers available. Only eye wash stations. Luckily, I lived two blocks away. But it took us a half hour of complaining about the burning before our shift super allowed us to go change. We were both let go the very next day. I was happy to be leaving that job and in fact, never worked temp again.
My son did too. Many times he'd call me at 2 a.m. and we'd talk about the stories. I reported to the office at 7a but I always talked to him anyway. He was killed at age 29 and cherish those phone calls talking about Mr. Ballen and his stories. My son was fascinated with his military career too.
31:45 as a cali native, I’m sure he’s talking about UC Merced and it’s pronounced “mer-sed” not “mer-ked” LMFAO I live in Modesto which is not far from Lodi. I remember hearing about this when it happened. I also remember driving on the freeway and seeing people parachuting right over the freeway cuz that skydiving location is right off the freeway
I’m Mexican, I’ve never liked Chalino’s. Sanchez music personally, but yes he was the most famous singer in that era in Mexico and in the US for Mexican communities. This is the first time I’m finding out about this letter. you can see his face expression completely changed after reading the letter.
My son had just gotten a job at a quarry working graveyard. He was not told about “lockout tag out.“ He went to fix a rock shaker type of machine and was at the bottom of the conveyor belt where water with the power of fire hoses sprays the rocks. Someone at the top of the machine turned it on. The water started spraying him and the person who was shadowing him grabbed him by the collar of his neck and yanked him out. He called me in the middle of the night while he was driving home, soaking wet, shivering and probably in shock. He was advised not to report it and sent home. He didn’t want to cause problems because he was only 19 and thought this was a job of his lifetime. The job never got any better. He’s lucky to be alive. I feel for this poor man. Employers need to step up.
I'm sorry but I have to say that orville tuttle is quite a name 😂😂😂 And also shouldn't a SAR have the description of the last thing that he was wearing and probably a pic of the tracks to I'd with any shoes or fabric
The $75,000 the Hospital was faulted was still probably cheaper than the repairs (it requires). Meaning, sadly, this could happen again. Or, prob already does. If 1 is faulty, what percentage is and isn’t?
Whoa! So biccardi plant recklessly kills day in such a brutal fashion - his family gets *$75 grand* but the family of the kid who dies by willingly jumping out of a plane gets *$40 MILLION* ?!?!?!
Born and raised in Lodi, I’ve watched the jumpers for years. The tacky looking parachute center is less than 100 feet from the 99 freeway. Jumpers float over the freeway of a regular basis.

Because big businesses have money for big legal teams. It should not be that way but, money rules the world.
Follow all safety protocols. If your boss doesn't like that, walk away.
Drunk drivers deserve prison time. And not every vehicular accident leads to prison time. If you kill someone because you were texting while driving, you also deserve prison time.
A sub theme of my MA thesis was the evolution of the corrido on the border. Great story.
You have a gorgeous smile. So enjoyed these stories.
Ya Barbara at the bear creek overlook...literally 15mins from me, thats cool to have this story told by Mr Ballen
obvs taken by a mountain lion
@@brencelt haha...riiiiight
Can't make me believe that ALL of these people are being 100% honest about how some of those ppl went missing. So sad.
right!? if im the husband of the woman missing in the woods me and buddy are searching the woods together while somebody checks out his car/house. there is NO WAY he didn't do something.
Meh. The workers saw nothing. No one knows what happened. @@alicethemadrabbit1842
@@alicethemadrabbit1842 I was thinking the same: 'oh well he agreed to take a lie detector test, he must be innocent!' is so dumb. Polygraph machines, even if he took or "passed" the test, work as well as a coin flip. They are just props to elicit confessions by saying, "But we KNOW you're lying!"
That story about Wu turned my stomach, the photos omg I have such a fear of heights & falling 🙈
Tbh i don't know why people go to sleep listening to mr ballen im far too hooked on every story and want to hear it all i can't wait until the book gets released 😊
Great compilation
19:52 Tony the tiger on the bottom left "not so lazy lake"
Poor Dey and his family. That's horrific.
I love the videos where we can watch you telling the story.
🤔💭
The story about Barbara ..
I just saw there is 76 hours of Mr Ballen on the play list
PS: Thank you for your great stories.
When you disappear whilst relieving your self in the woods with a perfectly good lake near by
Something I learned as I gotten older is to always trust your intuition never dismiss it
I always have anxiety before hearing from one of my sons and daughter before getting that call
Of course I remember that movie. I never found it scary though. I am 62
Well to each his own. Definitely a "jump scare" movie. I liked the psychological aspect of the movie. Certainly new for its time. Which that itself is debatable. But honestly man not trying to have a philosophy class here just sharing stories on good bloody zombies eating brains!!!
I swam in the boiling pots 20 years ago! WOW wow, swam with my dog as well. No signs back then 😮
That poor young man. That breaks my heart. 😢
Samantha's boyfriend is 30 mins late after a terrible fight and figures she has an attitude and just leaves? Wow. MAYBE SHE IS NOT THERE BECUASE YOUR THIRTY MINS LATE AND DIDN'T CALL. There is no mention that he sent her a message that he was going to be late. I don't feel like he did this but after a terrible fight at least say your going to be late so your girl stays inside and waits for you.
❤ your voice and stories
Barbara never went for a hike. Jim and Donna killed her and hid her body. That's why dogs never picked up her scent.
Yaay I'm the second comment. Lol hello Mr. Ballen! Love all you're videos
That’s why you teach your kids to fight for their lives always
Glad someone found Bruce!
Re: The Bacardi Factory
Here is a man who was trying to get work in his chosen field. After continuous denials he ends up a temp at a factory. We all know what happens next.
This is why it burns me up when I hear these demons say “no one wants to work.” You liars. People do want to work but they get rejected- by YOU. To the deepest parts of h-e-l-l with you all.
I work night security, and i have to go walk my rounds now, but I've been listening to this guy for about an hour, and im starting to see stuff 😢
Mr.ballen you should do an updated version of the Pickton case.
Hi😂 ❤❤ I hope you had a great week🎉
As a current warehouse worker myself, sadly I resonate with the story about the temp worker that died on his first day, these warehouse jobs really do value productivity over the wellbeing of their employees
Who would have thought that's how wo would have gone out ? Shocking !!!
Thank you so much for your service. You are a credit to our country. I'm sorry for your depression. My husband is also a veteran. Your stories are amazing and you can be very proud of your achievements.
Go support him on his real channel. It’s called MrBallen.
I am so sick of these bots that use reused comments like "oh I love to plug in my headphones and listen to this at night" when this is obviously not a video that you're going to be able to relax to
Not true. I fall asleep to Mr Ballen all the time
@@Mommy-Findlay you misunderstand my comment, I too listen to them when I go to sleep sometimes but the same bots are saying the same thing the moment the video is released so they get all the likes, so getting all the likes must somehow benefit them

❤ your content B Allan
I drive truck and listen to him all day
My son did too. Many times he'd call me at 2 a.m. and we'd talk about the stories. I reported to the office at 7a but I always talked to him anyway. He was killed at age 29 and cherish those phone calls talking about Mr. Ballen and his stories. My son was fascinated with his military career too.
31:45 as a cali native, I’m sure he’s talking about UC Merced and it’s pronounced “mer-sed” not “mer-ked” LMFAO
I live in Modesto which is not far from Lodi.
Perfect
Thanks for putting these MrBallen videos together for clearly stating you’re not an official MrB channel ❤✊🫡
The area he was in was also shaking. It was years ago, but when I think about it it’s still makes me furious, but also grateful.
I'm sorry but I have to say that orville tuttle is quite a name 😂😂😂
And also shouldn't a SAR have the description of the last thing that he was wearing and probably a pic of the tracks to I'd with any shoes or fabric
The $75,000 the Hospital was faulted was still probably cheaper than the repairs (it requires).
Meaning, sadly, this could happen again. Or, prob already does. If 1 is faulty, what percentage is and isn’t?
As soon as you said Palletizer, I knew exactly what happened working in a Glass Manufacturing Factory myself. Terrible 😢.
18:03 75k is not enough for that wtf that’s disgusting
Why are the commercials longer than your program
