The laugh part after defeating the Master of Puppets at 7:10 with the shadows of the band in the sky stood out to me for some reason. It was so badass The whole event was badass really. Short, but awesome. I've been a small fan of Metallica (I get it from my dad) and I've become a bigger fan lately, thanks to Fortnite. This was probably one of the best collabs in Fortnite history tbh 🤘

That's the problem, that it's made in creative. I mean, for creative it was not bad but as a concert, very underwhelming imo... Epic needs to bring back battle royale concerts. Look at Travis Scott event. It was slowly being teased, by building an stage in the same BR map we all knew with a visible countdown so people could be hyped about it. There was no distracting gameplay (no driving cars, no need to walk around, no boss fights that makes the event look like a mini-game with nice background music instead of a concert). The goal was to enjoy the music and the show and you weren't distracted with anything else, like shooting guns of having to move around. The event moved you as needed, flying, underwater, across the universe and you simply focused on enjoying the show. The intro, the change between songs/themes and outro was very smooth and looked like it was made with a lot of effort. Just watch it and compare. I'm not talking about the music, I'm talking about the show.

I used to work In radio and have been to hundreds and hundreds of concerts and Metallica puts on one of if not the best show out there. I won’t even forget their Summer Sanitarium tours in the early 2000’s they were legendary.
