This was great, thanks, Rich! I've watched some of a super cut of all the Karl's Diaries but never a full episode of the podcast so I'm pleased to see the whole episode is just them getting Karl's take on things. In some ways he's such a ridiculous human being, but even worse is when he says something so basic or literal and you find yourself agreeing with his philosophy, haha!

I heard somewhere the the term "a monkey" meaning 500 pounds originated in India where the 500 Rupee note had a picture of a monkey on it. As there was so much dealings with British people in India the turn of last century, the term travelled over from people returning from there.
