I bought an RX 5600 XT less than a month ago. Upgraded the vBIOS right away. Last time I tried a non-NVIDIA GPU was in 2001, and that didn't last long. About a month... Which is how long the RX 5600 XT lasted in my rig. I would get random lockups with a green screen, audio dropouts over HDMI, and sometimes my screen would look wavy (for lack of a better term). I had none of these issues over the past nearly two decades of NVIDIA cards, but from my searching, it seems I'm not alone with these issues. I was excited to give AMD a shot, given they are more open source-friendly and I run Linux exclusively, but I will be going back to NVIDIA with an RTX 2060 within the week. Closed-source or not, I never had crashes like this with an NVIDIA card.
