Oh my gosh, I love the new color scheme and the scrapbook style. 😍 It looks so different from your previous one and it's making me want to try out some new stuff as well. I usually first go in with a pencil, and by the time I have to go over it with color I can't bother to do it all over again so I just give up. Which sucks since I started to many but never finish any of them. I'll just have to try going for the color first and then I could just rip off or tape some colored paper over it. 🤔 I also have some of the cheaper washi that doesn't stick as well. I was attempting the same boarder around the page like you but when I saw it didn't hold very well I used my Double-Sided Adhesive Tape, looks like the Corection Tape, in couple of spots but mostly on the corners and it worked pretty good so I'd recommend trying that instead of having to by new washi. ☺
Wow, your cover page is so pretty! I use a premade tracker journal, but I keep considering doing a more journal-style book for my next one. I really should also track the books I buy each year. I feel like sometimes I go a little over the top. Good washi tape is meant to be low tack. I use it for painting because it won't tear the paper when I pull it off. I would tack it down with a little glue if you want it to be permanent. Love the spreads and info tracking!
I love this so much! I havent started my '25 reading bujo yet but this makes me want to get going! I love the extra textures you used. Maybe I'll try that this year also.
This journal is lovely!! I have the same issue with washi tape - you can wrap it around, like you did, but sometimes I run a thin line of glue under it to help it stick. I think it’s meant to be moveable, but that means it sometimes doesn’t stick well. Also, if you want more inspiration, there are tons of paper crafting channels to watch! I’ve been enjoying The Paper Outpost recently.
This looks amazing!!! I love that you repurposed pages from a favorite book! I bought supplies to do a bullet journal this year, but it didn't happen. Maybe one day!
So pretty and functional! I need to get moving on setting up my 2025 book and planner journals. Thank you for some awesome ideas of things to track. 🙂📚
Leandra!!! As an avid bullet journal user, it's so nice to see you experimenting with more stuff!! I love to do that in my journals! I honestly LOVEEEE this and would love to see more bullet journal updates!! I still have to fully setup mine! But when I do, I will show it!! Regarding the washi tape, I see a lot of people using it as a decoration most of the times, for exemple, when you have pieces of paper and you want to add something more, or, I also see people using it at the corners of little papers or boxes they might have on the page!!
This cover is gorgeous. I would love to use the Christie quote in my media journal, and I hope you don’t mind. Your use of those paper swatches is fantastic. I never quite get the neck of it, but I am planning to do some junk journal-style spreads and at least two of my bullet journals for 2025. This gives me hope. it turned out so beautifully.
I always keep a glue stick handy to refresh the adhesive on Washi tape that has gotten old and doesn’t want to stick on the page. Your journal is looking good! Enjoy!
Leandra! That was great! I love the setup of your pages. You are doing great. Bullet journaling is whatever you want it to be really. Do you do a flip through when they are all done and full? I would love to see how it looks when you fill it up. Great video!
I started my first reading journal at the beginning of 2024 and am learning as I go. It is much more modest than yours which I find very inspiring. I also used an old book (Utopia) to make a spread - the yellowed pages have their own charm Thanks for sharing and happy reading
Cute!! And such a cozy video. I would love to bullet journal / have a creative reading journal but im so bad at updating and also being creative. I end up hating whatever i do 😭

amazing! I love setting up my journal and seeing what other people put in theirs ☺
This was so calming! I love the style of your journal this year! I’m doing it digitally this year, but I definitely took some notes!
Love how it all turned out! I like making spreads, but then end up not using them much. haha.
@@BooksAndJams Thank you, Krista! I’ve had that problem too! Why is it more fun to make the spreads…less fun to fill them out? 🤣
This is a gorgeous set up. Love the DNF graveyard and the BOTB spread
This inspired me to start doing mine ✨️
I love how your journal turned out!! So pretty!

I think cheap washi tape doesn’t stick. Love all of this. ♥️♥️♥️

I love the updates I’m always so scared to use washi and scrapbook paper because of the decision making it involves lol. But yours is so good!!!!!!
