Finding Islam after growing up a Catholic school kid is like finding the missing piece to the puzzle. All my questions answered, while keeping my love for the grandeur of God and my love for Jesus. One thing I don't understand after reading comments down here is, why on earth are you guys debating about it? If it doesn't involves hatred so continue but if it does involves hatred among religions, so stop. If you are an MJ fan, you would support him and his belief in PEACE. In fact, if you truly care about world peace, stop igniting the flames. There are things that better unsaid. I'm a muslim and i'm not saying that all christians are wrong and all muslims aren't.
To me, people describe more about themselves as WHO THEY ARE INSIDE than as what religion they are in. And not every muslims really do as what they are told(to do peaceful things unlike the so called "terrorists").

Michael read a lot about different topics and he read about religion also, about all religions, not only Islam. He was spiritual and believed in God, but he never followed blindly any religion, he was smarter than that. Yes, he was Jehovah's Witness early on, but by the 90s, under the influence of Deepak Chopra (and a lot of reading, I guess), he started declaring himself as a spiritual more than religious. Besides, it took Elizabeth Taylor five years to convince him to celebrate ONE Christmas and he later cried like he did something bad. He always kept the tradition of not celebrating his birthday and not receiving any presents on that day. He was an artist, he was intelligent and curious also, so naturally he questioned the teachings of Jehovah's Witnesses and left the church ultimately, but he respected some of the tradition. So, basically, he's not someone who's easily convinced or swayed.
He's right most of our ancestors were muslim the ones that were brought from Africa to the Americas. Alhumdulilah Allah guided us back to his Light

Mashallah, although this isn't proof Mj converted. As his brother said, MJ had "a tough life" and too many things were being asked of him, perhaps this felt like another thing being asked of him. Maybe in the afterlife Allah has given him another chance in worship. His soul is so pure, and he was so open, he could have easily accepted it and God knows this.
Religion is only secondary, the importance is our Love, respect and trust to God. If we believe that God, Allah, Jehovah wants the good for us then we will think and do what is good for us and other people.

I think that there is a reasonnable chance that he died a Muslim, and the reason for that is that :
1- After his Trial, OVERNIGHT, he moved to Bahrein and the Middle east to find Serenity.
2- He told Jermaine , he loved the call of prayer
3- He read books, years after that.
AND OVERALL Did you noticed how was Michael Jackson in 2006 in London, at Earl's court? Very calm, with much Serenity, distant with everything, he showed some peace of Mind..Acting like a Muslim...

There's something important that a lot of people seem to forget, and that's the fact that there ARE non-Muslims that'll go to heaven.
