To be completely honest, your best bet is to save your money and buy something a bit better. Most of the hardware is nearly garbage straight out of the box. & In my experience, they are horrible at staying in tune, even tuning them in the first place can be a hassle. Not to mention the wrap on the kit was poorly done and there are huge gashes in my drums from box cutters where they trimmed the wrap. Also when I ordered this kit the sent me 2 warped snares in a row so I didn't even have the full set up until a few months after I bought it. Ddrum customer service is an absolute nightmare. I'd rather cut my losses with the kit than have to deal with those guys again. If I could do it all over, I would never have dealt with Ddrum in the first place. I suggest you check out some Mapex Mars or Yamaha Stage Customs
