Agreed, although I feel like people should be able to tell even with the “go pro effect”…. Just look at how he’s skiing, those are some damn technical turns
Your absolute determination to not take your skis off is... inspiring. You're getting every last vertical foot for that $200 lift ticket man, awesome. You're really fun to watch and the stoke is infectious. Things are rough on the east coast right now; I needed to see this lol
This is the type of skier I aspire to be. Sending it off-piste and hitting a cliff drop once in a while. By far the most natural and, I think, the most stylish form of skiing.
looks so sick, those lines are so steep in person, can't believe you skied them with such little snow! That is sick! I've only been to Whistler when they had a ridiculous amount of snow, had no idea what was under there lol
Amazing stuff!! Thank you for sharing this. You’ve re-stoked a fire inside this full-time working, family man (father of two youngn’s), who hasn’t been out in what seems like forever! You’ve got me wanting to pack the wife & kids up in the car, quit this LA lifestyle and head out to the mountains for good!
Whats the name of the run on the opening? I did whistler heli today. They havent flown since christmas and I got super lucky they let the chopper in the air. It was f***in epic. I have never ridden snow like that.
Does anyone know where he is after 20 seconds? The big wide area. Obviously at the top of Peak Chair but I’ve only been up there once or twice and I don’t recognise it
it's a fairly obvious spot if you think about where the sun is in the sky... but do not miss the sign line traverse or you are gonna have a shitty day.

How many times does it have to be said, no one is paying 200/300 dollars a lift ticket. Everyone has epic passes which work out anywhere from 12 to 50 odd dollars per day.
In my opinion Whistler is amazing if you know all the spots, go midweek, plan your day well and if you can ski sketchy lines that most people don’t do. Otherwise you prob won’t have that much fun
I know all the spots. Been going there since 1980 with 36 years snowboarding. I was the first snowboarder to do the Waterfall in 1988 and I did Jordan's in 1993. Customer service is horrible, the lift ticket price is disrespectful, and the scene is a joke. Everyone is a hero. There's no soul. Attention culture at its maximum. @@BCmtb
Still sketchy. Catch an edge on ridges and you’ll flip in a split second. It should be really nice in about two weeks if it doesn’t rain. I could hear you breaking an ice layer or two. As to why you skied the grass and rocks is extremely careless and dumb. Better decision on that next time.
I know how much steeper these lines are than they look on go pro. Super precise skiing, sick lines. Well done man, have a good season
I thought you guys had no snow over there? 😅
@@1Flyingfist none in the valley, plenty in the alpine
@@SirFrancisBaconnYeah, I just got to near the end and it's basically bare grass or dirt. 😅

Love those West Bowl lines! Well skied!
Sick!! Still a little sketchy but getting better. I am glad that Whistler has some snow!!
Awesome video man, the rock skiing at the end was ridiculous!
great footage mate, thoroughly enjoyed that!
one of the best 'amateur' ski videos ive seen on youtube. killed it
Rad skiing man, out on the island here, hoping we can get some cover soon! Cheers. 🍻🍁❄️

Marcus you’re a fu**ing legend dude, absolute menace on skis🔥
Thanks homie. You’ve been killing it aswell🤟🏼
It’s beautiful ❤
3:02 notice the flames still coming off his skis from the absolute fire that was the previous run
haha
I remember when my legs were that strong 20 years ago. Great skiing!
nice to see it all snowy again
those were some sick lines
on this day you were the king in the land of Gnar!
Dude completely dumped his skis for this hella sick run
Guess its time for a base grind or new pair anyways right?

Absolutely ripping! You're getting really sketch in the low coverage though lol, would hate to see you get broken off early season

There's better skiers on TH-cam but you are hands down the most entertaining. Kind of a "Poor Man's Candide Thovex" Stay safe and have fun!
What settings are you running on the gopro? Looks really good.

WOW !! .
If only I could ski like this 😮💨

Triggered a nice little size 0.5 there at 3:20 haha!

Awesome🤣😂
As always, appreciate your style, you get me inspired to enjoy those janky lines!
Are those 172's or does the gopro make 180's look short?
Thanks. Yah they’re 172s
14:55 what about equipement after skiing ing condidionts like this?

are your binding true centered or factory rec?
I believe they’re somewhere in the middle but closer to factory rec

South Whistler/MC Bowl. It's all out of bounds.

I don’t understand what he said at the beginning about sharks. Can someone explain?
Sharks refer to pointy rocks that are on the surface or underneath the snow. Lots of rocks around cause of our lack of snow
what day was this from?
This was December 23rd
Nice line, I love peak chair. what if we shared a chair and held hands and maybe smooched a little but our goggles bumped? 🥺👉👈
lol those core shots tho😅🤣
is that first video the backside of peak and how do you get outta there lol

In Whistler you can duck ropes unless it says permanently closed. It’s just not patrolled

wtf why are u ripping ur skis that much at the end :(
They’re the rock skis. Got a fresh pair for when there’s actually snow
