hey josh. i love your podcast and its oblivions that you are a real deal and miles ahead of all other fantasy podcast out there. i think that you are right saying that we cant predict injury in general. but with ball is different: its known that his father push them to the limit in training. the quality of shoe brand that he and is brother wear was murky at best. and the fact that is brother is one of the most injury prone players ever played cant be overlook. what say you?
As someone who is still on the "Oh-Hi-Mark" bandwagon ... I am very interested to see what his ADP is going to be, and how / if it moves as the pre-season evolves. Maybe he has a banger pre-season and he starts shooting up the board? As for the LaMelo question: I think it would depend on where I am in the 2nd round and what build I go for. Like if I'm top 3 ... and I can pair him with Jokic - Wemby - Luka I would consider it ... but it would depend on who is available at the end of the 2nd round and if there is a 3rd round reversal. Then I'd probably go "safer" pick due to my 3rd round pick being at the end of the round.
A bit different situation with Bertans. He had to play 75% of team games to get that money. But in the middle of season Thunder and Bertans reached agreement that his salary for the next year will be guaranteed and he will get $5.25 millions next season.
Miller upside might be Khris Middleton but I really don’t think Scoot’s upside is higher than like a Baron Davis level star PG. I think I’d prefer a Middleton type next to LaMelo but that’s just me
re - lamelo, i do auction so itll really depend on what other guys have gone for / what i have on my roster, but I wouldn't pay more than like $28 or $29 in a $200 auction
I think LaMelo best fits as a 3rd round pick at best due to all the risk associated (never a guarantee a player bounces back to full strength after an injury riddled season)
Great stuff Josh. I drafted no Hornets players, but added Richards/Micic/G.Williams off waivers in a few spots. I dont think I would take Lamelo in the 2nd round. Like Subscribe DB
Legend has it Mark Williams is still doubtful to this day
It is written.
These player comparisons are so great. The names coming up are web gems.
Loving these team breakdowns.
Really great to be able to pregame for next seasons fantasy draft.
Got Sengun for Brandon Miller in dynasty, coming here to listen your view on Miller is music to my ears!
"Batman himself". You got a laugh out of me Josh 😂
Josh, the people are requesting that you bring us a live pregame show sometime these playoffs.
If I can get lamello in the middle of the second round I would consider it. It may look silly but we know what he can do when he’s on the court.

Would love a top 5 comparison player run down instead of some obscure playe no one has heard of...

I'd definitely consider Mello . Late to mid second rd. Come pre season I can see him raising up my draft broad based on up side.

I would not take Lamelo in round 2. 30-40 range seems fair.
Would probably go round 3 on Lamelo. Its two years in a row getting burned by him after drafting him early in the second round (13 & 15) both years
I'd take LaMelo round 2, but would wait to round 3 cause probably he'll slide
You were wrong about Miller all along and still won’t admit it. Lol
i wasn't right or wrong on miller
