Now, I just recently got it up to master, and I'm re-learning all of the fun stuff you can do with it. You make amazing guides bro, and I really got hooked on all of your content.
A lore video sounds awesome. FFXI has so much great lore that gets overlooked. The scholar storyline, for example, is far more dark and bloody than anyone would probably expect from the job.
I wish I could come back to this game and have someone mentor me. It’s almost overwhelming, it seems, to play a job well enough to be useful to anyone.
The Jhakri set isn't as bad as it seems due it's low haste. Blu is on Tempus Fugit. That's 14%/15% haste in the belt slot alone, which as we know, the belt slot is one of the weaker nuke slots for BLU anyway. So trading 5 MAB and 6 INT (Yamabuki-no-Obi) for 14/15% haste is pretty much a no-brainer until upgrading to BiS nuking sets. I highly recommend the Jhakri set with the haste belt for BLUs getting into nuking.
5 years back I run all jobs, though on my 2 mains SMN, WHM, NIN and BLU are my top jobs. But I've still yet to get a Tanmogayi (Working on a Tizona). Almost tempted to send my BLU to Azura and hire Mercs because I can never seem to get the help on Leviathan to get one. I'm 0/82 on Sarama for the Tanmogayi though if I ever get serious on RUN I do have a nice +1 Montante

Why Tanmogayi+1 in the offhand? That's a high-delay sword, great pre-REMA mainhand but you're going to get more out of Almace or a well-augmented Colada. Otherwise, good guide. I'm not 100% sold on the TP bonus sword either. For zerg, where you are rocking 8 songs, it's probably pretty good. Blue mage doesn't otherwise shine in zergs it seems valuable for that niche, but for other content eh I don't think so.
The math on the TP Bonus sword is pretty convincing. The way savage blade scales with TP is what makes the sword exceptional. I doubted it too until I took a weekend to make one myself. All you have to do is set Acc. Bonus IV, and go into your mid level acc TP set (assuming you have 3 acc level TP sets: low, mid, high), if needed. It's really not that difficult to get 1100 acc in the offhand with the TP bonus. Just make one and see for yourself. The only place you'll need an ilvl offhand is, as many people have said here and ffxiah forums, is dynamis wave 3. Like the saying goes, don't knock it till you try it.
Heya, The comment about TP bonus accuracy and being selfish is just made up. I'm sorry but it is. Especially that I see you haven't made the sword yourself. You could at least try any non ilvl offhand to check accuracy if you are not "sold" on this idea. 1100+ accuracy on TP bonus sword is NOT the level of accuracy that suddenly needs 2x madrigal, torpor and w/e else to cap accuracy on wave1 dynamis or something. It's also the level of accuracy used by other melee jobs like for example COR, SAM in their optimal TP set (They ofc have higher acc sets when needed, but that level of accuracy is enough for 98% of endgame). I do a lot of content on BLU with that combo and only place where I have minimal problems with accuracy is wave 3 dynamis (doesnt include boss). I triobox Dynamis wave 1 for example and all I need is Marcato Honor March and sushi, so nothing selfish being used. I actually dont even use my accuracy set for majority of content. Tizona also provides AM3, which makes some accuracy swaps less impacting for your TP gain and with some accuracy swaps and setting 2 more levels of accuracy trait (tier III as base for tier V with gifts) you can reach like 1150 accuracy in town, without food. Aggressor 20 accuracy is also nice for shorter fights or when you fight THF in dynamis. Please write down at least one higher end game event (other than wave 3 dynamis fomors), where 1100 accuracy without any buffs is not enough and where accuracy buffs are not being used at the same time. At least one please. Now the rest of the guide was nice :)
Agreed, most people are seeing 1100+ acc with tp off hand sword, even my war using tp off hand axe had 1100 acc with no buffs in normal tp set for dual wield. Did dynamis wave 1 and 2 with naegling/tp axe and still had 96% acc by the end of the run
@@SageAtoreis yes.. how ever, doesn't SE make alot of money off of ffxiv? So.. regardless ffxi should've been f2p cause it's a dead and old school type of a mmo rpg.
@@andrewworkman9488 "old school" type of mmo is exactlly why the people who still play it, play it. This game is still very profitable for SE, there still is a decent chunk of active players, and is far from being a dead game.
SE needs to add more expansions and job classes to keep this "payed to play" game going and stop ripping people off who live pay check to pay check...and dont happen to be successful financially.

Most of us current players are completely fine with the subscription fees as they are, for the simple fact that we don't have to deal with bullshit like loot-boxes and in-game ads and other micro-transaction shit. But yeah, if you want to talk about who's ripping off who, it ain't a game company charging 15$ per month for their service who's ripping you off. It's the employer that doesn't pay you 15$ an hour. It's the healthcare industry that charges you 2.5k for an ambulance ride, or 300$ for a bottle of insulin or 600$ for an inhaler. You want more money in your pockets to play games? Get Sanders in the White House, because despite what anybody (corporate media who serve only the rich) will tell you, he's the one that will save you money. It ain't gonna be Trump, and it ain't gonna be Joe Biden or Pete Buttigieg.

I like to cleeve wirh sch sub. You can do weather buffs, and aoe aspir, drain , among a few other spells and reraise is nice
