    Your patience was definitely rewarded James as the final image was beautiful. Loved the other courtyard location too, the character of the place really came alive through your lens and some food for thought there by having the option of using the extender too. Something I dont currently own but liked how you put it to use on the 24mm TS-E

      I have started using the extender again recently. And upcoming I have a video shot in Romania - with the focus being putting on it as I shoot an external.
      Thanks for watching. 😊

    It lovely seeing your use of the extenders on the 24ts. Not being limited to 24 but 35 and 48. Keep it up.

    Wonderful video and stunning staircase! How do you find the image quality when using the converter on the 24mm TSE? Is there any loss of quality at all that you’ve noticed? Seems like a relatively cheap and good way to get that 35mm reach. What’s your setup with your R5? Does it go EF adaptor - EF (not RF?) telecomvertor then 24mm lens?

      I have a video coming up all about it and it's best use cases. I think you will enjoy that, I recently shot it in Romania. But essentially, there is a very very slight trade off but nothing you would spot and diminish your image. And yes I use 35mm a lot in my work in the past with a wide angle. This gives me that look for externals as well.
      And yes the RF TO EF Adapter has to go first. It essentially is like adding the box back on your camera like a DSLR. And the RF extender wouldn't work in front of the adapter. So yes - ADAPTER > EF extender > 24mm tse

    Lovely locations ... and the glow in the stairwell beautifully highlights it against the front of the building... 💙
    With the shift, why did you do it at 45 degrees as opposed to level.... I get that it counteracts the offset of your position behind the pillar btw 😉

    • @JamesKerwin
      @JamesKerwin  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah exactly that. The pillar was 100% bang smack in the centre. There was no way, but to offset it for the spiral to be central.
      Off to Tbilisi now, looking forward to it. 😊

    Why are there two adapters behind the Canon?

    • @JamesKerwin
      @JamesKerwin  12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @EElgar1857 I said in the video. Using a tilt shift lens which is EF, I am using the RF R5 canon camera.
      Also an extender to make the lens 35mm not 24mm.

      Have you ever tried to film a youtube video with a mirror less camera. It is so so time consuming, and frankly as a full time photographer - I literally don't have the time anymore, with brexit admin work is at an all time high. When people buy products on mass, it is usually for a reason. 😊
