Glad you made it back safely, Katie! I was in Nevada from May 3 to 19, but just staying with family in Reno. Had to go through security twice at the airport on the way back home because someone had entered my traveling companion's birthday as mine, so my ID didn't match the information on file. One thing I wouldn't have had to worry about had I gone by motor home!

Katie, who would have guessed that in 1956 I gathered rocks from the petrified forest and the painted desert, then brought them back to West Virginia, then two decades later the rocks ended up in Winchester, Virginia. Now I am in Florida listening to a Lady in North Carolina who has done the same thing. Amazing how God works in the lives of people. Welcome home, I am looking forward to a video to see what the rocks become. God bless.😃⛏💎
Can't wait to see all your rocks! You got to visit some awesome places! Portland Bee Balm is the best! My friends used to mail it to me in Maryland when I lived there. It's the only lip balm I use. What an awesome experience Katie! I can't wait for you to start cutting all your treasures!

Lived a long time in Central Oregon. There is so much interesting geology there. Painted hills after a rainstorm is spectacular. Some lava flows closer to the Cascades have areas of obsidian. Like walking on black glass. I remember finding arrowheads made with it when I was young.
That would be an awesome find!
