Breaking up with someone you cared about, losing a network of friends in the process; having your parents divorce; losing your family home; moving to a new city. These are all major stressors that take time to work through. And the unpredictability of flight attendant life doesn't help. Moves aren't cheap. Storage facilities aren't cheap. The lifestyle doesn't come cheap. Maybe a roommate? Maybe a transfer back to Chicago and live with mom or a friend there? Or how about DFW and your friend there? This is all starting to feel a little chaotic. Carrie, give yourself some grace. Forget instagram and dig deep into your heart for next steps. You will come out stronger in the end. Merry Christmas!
The last couple years of my life have been a lot like this. Moved 9 times, left a relationship, started another, switched jobs, it’s been nuts. But I’ve learned so much and wouldn’t change it! Some seasons in life are just more chaotic than others. Have fun!
Think you should go home for a short while to be with family and to think about what state you really want to be in. You said you didn’t want to leave Florida but you didn’t sound so convincing. Thank you for sharing your life with us and wishing you happy holidays.

I can't imagine having so much back up in life that you have to move everything you own and 2 cats and you don't knows where you're going 2 weeks out and you simply have to "decide." I hope you know how blessed you are. In that position I'd be forced to extend my lease by 30 days and get my decisions and life in place. You have the confidence of a person with much help and many people.

This happened to me when I lived in Vegas. I spoke the the property manager and they gave me a 30 day extension but i had to pay 10% . It's the alcohol, all the sugar that will keep u tossing and turning.
