VITTORIO VIDALI - I AM NOT THE ONE I WAS

The life of Vittorio Vidali follows and intertwines with the history of communism in the 20th century. Born in Trieste in 1900, we find him in the United States when he organizes demonstrations for the liberation of the anarchists Sacco and Vanzetti, during the Spanish war, when he becomes Commander Carlos, in Mexico where he starts the relationship with Tina Modotti, in Russia where he is an agent of the Komintern, in Trieste to oppose the communism of Tito, in Rome when he becomes senator of the PCI, back in Trieste when he writes his memoirs and loves to meet with Claudio Magris. His life can give a new interpretation of the history of the Communist International, the Soviet secrets, the transformation of Italian society in the twentieth century.
